Texas Throw 'Em Build 0.2.18 brings lots of new changes! For starters, the bounty system is fully implemented. Players can now collect money in the levels and it will increase the money they have collected as well as the players bounty. Additionally, if you engage enemies in combat and lose all your health, a death animation now plays before prompting the player to respawn. Dying now results in the player being sent to jail where they have to pay their bounty in order to continue playing. Run out of money or don't have enough though and the game ends there!

Additionally, we now have a guard in the bank that the player must sneak around. Don't get caught of he'll alert the authorities outside!
Lastly, we have populated the world with sounds including voice lines on the boss!

This build is likely the final build for a while and will be playable at Imagine RIT on RIT's Campus as well as RPI Game Fest!

Enjoy the build - Mason Gaw, Team Lead for The 4 Horsemen

Texas Throw 'Em has been updated to 0.2.12. This patch includes some small bug fixes found in onboarding where the player wasn't able to progress passed a certain point if tasks we're not completed in a certain order. Additionally, colliders we're added into the boss fight in order to keep the players from hiding behind the stairs/slot machines and tables are now destroyed after being shot by the boss. Lastly, we added a Quest Prompt at the top of the screen to tell the player what their current objective is.

This is the build we are taking to the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco and will be playtesting it there.
