What he meant is that it doesnt allow you to roll back to a different area and the screen gets stuck right there. So you have to load from a save to continue playing.
I've started the game on the patreon 0.7 build, went into any of the levels and its stuck on the loading screen infinitely. Is this just on my side or will there be a patch to fix it?
