Hello!

On May 19th the Gufeng Game Jam went public, with a cover image, and a high-effort page - which, from my understanding, are the requirements to pass the manual revisions from staff and get indexed.

However, it's been three weeks and the jam is still impossible to search within Itch.io; it doesn't even appear under the Jams Hosted tab. I emailed Support last week, but there was no answer.

I was wondering if  there is something wrong with the jam that could be fixed and get the issue fixed quickly, hopefully before the jam starts. You can take a look over here: https://itch.io/jam/gufeng-game-jam-2026

Thank you all for your time in advance

Hello, I’m Mesteres, and (along with Eros Nocturne) I’m the team leader and main artist for an upcoming project! Allow me to tell you a bit about it:

[TBN] is a dress-up game with dating simulation elements set in modern times. The player controls Marina, a rising fashion content creator who must navigate a tightly packed schedule of social events while building relationships with three potential love interests. The core structure remains consistent through the game: each day, Marina prepares for an event, and the outcome of that event depends on how she's dressed.

The positions that need to be filled and their responsibilities are:

🪞 Writers

  • Expected workload: ~5,000 words
  • Write a light-hearted story with fast-paced romance
  • Be responsible for one pre-defined love interest route
  • Collaborate on shared scenes

👗 Fashion designers

  • Expected workload: 26 clothing items
  • Design clothing for one character only; base doll will be provided
  • Deliver clean, readable sketches; rendering will be handled by the sprite artist
  • Create outfits across key style categories: Urban, Sexy, and Cute

👒 UI artist

  • Expected workload: menus, text box, and dress-up interface
  • Maintain proper spacing with scalability in mind
  • Target a clean, modern, and slightly cute aesthetic
  • Ensure UI elements are intuitive despite the lack of text

👝 Composers

  • Expected workload: 5 fully loopable tracks
  • Ensure that the music supports repetition-heavy gameplay loops without fatigue
  • Compose with soft synths, light percussion, bell-like tones, and bass-driven pop rhythm
  • Prioritize stylistic identity over realism

🛍️ Programmers

  • Choose an engine that supports both visual novel and dress-up mechanics
  • Implement a click-to-equip outfit feature
  • Integrate a point system with total scores
  • Go over cinematography and staging with the team leads

If you’re interested you can send over your portfolio either here or over Discord (@mesteres)! I’ll be thrilled to meet you~

This had such a big Nyan Neko Sugar Girl vibes that I was transported back to 2012 when everything was good and my sense of humor was embarrassing. Thank you for this masterpiece. I will never forget it for as long as I live

This game is SO GOOD and such a FANTASTIC find that, if I were to say everything I liked about it, I would go on for three days. So let me list all the things I did not like first:

Okay! Since that's done, let me gush over the things I adored:

  • The sprite animations and transitions. It made the otherwise static sprites feel so much more alive and helped the player picture what the narrator was saying. For example, changing the angles of both the sprite and the background to show Delia on the ground was super smart.
  • The visual effects. The fire, the sparkles, the blizzard... Again, it helped the narrator tell its story. Plus, they all looked very good and were used exactly where they were needed; no excessive use of them.
  • The conversational flow. It felt natural, no awkward sentences anywhere. I truly feel like two people IRL with the personalities of Lux and Delia would have chats like theirs.
  • The relationship between Lux and Delia. It felt so human. So natural. They became closer little by little in a way any other two people would. No forced scenes to make them friends. No romantic attraction pulled out of nowhere. They were made for each other, and fell in love because they were themselves - not because a writer told them so.
  • The story. Quite an obvious one, but I had no idea where any of this was going and, thus, got a pleasant albeit heartbreaking experience.

Anyways, I had tons of fun! Thank you for making this game! ♡

This is an insane game, I barely have words to describe what I felt while playing this

The writing is just superb. I'm not the kind of person to feel anything while playing games, but I could hear my heartbeat during the demon story - louder and louder as I began to realize what was going on

Not to mention that the sound design is incredible. I loved that each character had an unique "voice", I enjoyed the "click" at the end of a sentence... Everything

Fantastic work, my only complaint is that there's no more of this yet /j

I'm already on a team!

Thank you for your interest. I'll leave the previous post here for posterity + so my portfolio is here for anyone interested in future projects and game jams.

 See you next year! :)

Hello! I'm Mesteres, and I'm a 2D artist looking for a team.

Drive                              Twitter
<https: x.com="" mesteres_=""></https:>

I specialize in anime, ranging from moe to stylized. However, I can also do semirealism and realism, as those were the artstyles I used to draw years back.

I offer services as a sprite artist, character designer and/or concept artist.
I can also be a supervisor for other artists and share my knowledge to fix any errors in anatomy, lighting, shading, etc.
I can be a supervisor to many teams at once, but only an artist in one project.

Not too experienced with backgrounds, but can lend a hand if needed.

Good points:

  • Extremely wide artstyle range
  • Has a sharingan (/j). Can replicate any artstyle and any coloring of your preference
  • Able to draw any gender, any race, any body type, and any species
  • Many years of experience as an artist
  • Good communicator. Almost always available

Things to note:

  • Rather slow
  • Unsure about own shading style as it is currently being developed, but can do any previous shading or replicate others' easily
  • Won't do NSFW (topless, lingerie, pin-up, and suggestive poses are fine. If you wanna know more, just message me)

I have no qualms about the type of story at all. Just send me a DM telling me about your project and/or asking any questions you have!
