Exactly as you say, also the lore must be pretty clear (i mean that temporary title screen and such haha). Elkov (you pronounced it correct) is company where i worked. Mentioned in previous comment we have another game from our workplace, almost all the graphics are used from that game. Barcode scanner (again you guessed it right, it is TC60 or similar type) is new, always wanted to be a digitized photo in computer world even tho it is just my hand :D
