Great first steps for an FPS roguelike. I feel like you could easily build upon this by adding in other cool upgrades, like powers and/or weapons. One quality of life feature I would recommend is a way to register that you have hit an enemy as well as some visual queue when you get hit. 

Thank you so much for taking the time to give all this feedback. Some game testing from others before submission I feel could have helped me tweak the difficulty, but I designed the level all within the last 6 hours before submission lol. I don't think I'd add checkpoints that reset your timer within the level just because I feel it takes away from the feeling of racing against the clock to hit the next snooze button (which is the main mechanic of the game), if that makes sense.

It doesn't matter if you win or not, it's all about just getting started ;)

Okay, it is insane that this game has only been rated by 4 other people. The art style, voice acting, and cut scenes are so charming. I lost it every time LC'd and heard "GEORGIE DA BEAR" lol

The voice acting was peak. The boss fight was difficult but very fair. I wish I would have been skilled enough to see the true ending!

My fellow Snooze platformer! Nice job on the platforming mechanics, they felt really smooth. If I were to give one suggestion - maybe consider setting up a queue with several variants of the jump sound.

Love the art, great job with your first UR project! Being able to attack while airborne might be a nice mechanic to add if you continue development.

Insane game. I loved the mix of 2D with the start screen and 3D with the settings. After I defeated the boldness I continued to exit and then got clipped in the floor and couldn't move, just a heads up.

So much packed into this game! The dialogue had me dying of laughter at points.

Such a chill game. Fun to sit back and play with a nice cup of tea or coffee. Although, I did accidentally kill the cat :'(

Thank you for the great suggestions! I did want to add death particles but ran short on time. The floaty controls were meant to make you feel like you were in a dream, but I'm not sure if it accomplished that.

Thanks for playing! The game is meant to be difficult. When you say that the fires feel quite punishing are you referencing their placement or do you feel that their collision boxes are unfair?

I agree with the other comment, I couldn't figure out for the life of me what to do with the clothes. I recommend adding some guidance and controls info to the game page to assist future graders. The music was fire though!

I did about 1/3 of the art myself and then the other 2/3 were free assets I found on here and then updated the colors for in aseprite to match the vibe of the game. Thank you!!

Insane that your team was able to create most of these assets in such a short time period! PSA - Don't walk through the portal or you'll fall off the map lol

This was my first time using Unreal Engine and I was rushing last minute to try and package the game before the deadline. There is probably a bunch of extra Unreal auto-added assets not even being used by the game that I should have deleted lol...

I love the art style of this game! I did notice that when changing music tracks the original song does continue to play as well. Is there a way to interact with the plant and view its requirements again? I was having trouble remembering what each one needed.

This is the perfect mix of drawing and puzzle platforming, nice work!

Love the Jump King inspo and the art is beautiful. I did experiencing a bug getting stuck on a ledge in the first area after getting hit by the spikes where I was stuck in the damaged state.
