As for her story explanation, it's how she came to be, not foreshadowing. You can't have a story without backtracking to how it happened and how she got her Annie Miles identity. It's like filling the gaps that describe her transition to become who she is now. It's a take that many are okay with, as long as the ABDL elements are involved.

Annie's backstory is much more to understand how she ended up that way. Her journey took a month, so it's best to explain how she converted herself in multiple chapters. If I compressed it into 3 pages, it'll feel rushed and people will complain that her backstory needs to be fleshed out--it can't satisfy anyone. Some events in her backstory are important later on.

As far as the trope is concerned, this'll be addressed in future chapters. I already got a couple women in the works, one who'll be her "Aunt".
