Chapter 1 is about 95% done (just arranging some player choices!) and Chapter 2 is about 45% drafted! I was hoping to have at least the first 3 chapters done for the jam, since that's when the big plot hook really gets going, but I wonder if I'll have time for more!

In the meantime, I've gotten to drafting characters and getting a general feel for the fashion sense. I pretty much already knew what I wanted the characters to look like, it was just a matter of getting them down on paper.
Unfortunately the art bug hasn't been biting as hard, so I don't have any of those designs to show off just yet- but the writing is showing promise! Here's hoping I can kick into gear soon ✨

Hii! Welcome to baby's first dev log! This is my first time making a public one and not one just for me so expect a bit of fumbling LOL

Themes: Dark Academia, Mystery, Slightly-eldritch-ish

Blurb: With a mysterious letter and forged documents, Oscar Hall enrolls in [To Be Named] University, looking for the truth behind the well-kept secret that has plagued his family and driven them to the edges of society. What he doesn't expect is Basil Black, scion of one of the most prestigious families in nation, taking a special interest in him and the two of them being bound by forces neither understand.

Word Count: TBD! But it will be a partial-completion, I struggle to write short stories lol.

Sprites: Characters are designed, but still working out costuming and uniforms~ 

Backgrounds: Neeka, Luciam, assorted stock images to be found

GUI: I use Tyranobuilder which has built in GUI themes! But I'm pretty sure it's by Kopanda, who does lots of awesome stuff!

BGM: Still gathering some! music always takes me the longest to find.

Incredible game, I found myself staring in open awe (and sometimes a little genuine terror) at the screen on more than on occasion. I haven't gotten all the endings yet, but MAN what I've seen so far has me so excited to comb through every bit of this game.
