Damn, in terms of gameplay this might be my favourite in the jam so far. It all just comes together so well with the rising tension and how much you have to keep track of. Don't have time to finish rn because I'm crunching rating all the games I want to but I'll be back to finish this!!! Loved the animation on the penguin too it looks great!

Really cool seeing a pico 8 game in a jam! Enjoyed a lot too. The final boss' design looked really cool!

Simple but I enjoyed, reminded me of temple run. I enjoyed getting a ton of speed and barrelling down the level lol. Good stuff :)

I made to the level in the 4th screenshot with the portals and the button you shouldn't press, and once I made it to the end of that the game faded to black. I could restart the level still so I tried playing the level again but the same thing happened.

Dog. The sprites are sooooo cuteeeeeeee. I like the instruments that you used for the soundtrack, they're whimsical but fit the atmosphere really well

Visuals on this one are great! Excellent job on the art direction.

Whilst tank controls aren't super intuitive, I thought it was pretty fun and novel to use them, especially since you're controlling a tank. I wasn't super what the advantage of each bullet type was, but I thought it was super fun and silly to play a little tune to reload.

The art looks awesome! The art direction's really strong. The gameplay's fun but movement felt a bit clunky sometimes with the small cooldown between movements, and it was a bit frustrating sometimes getting to the end of a level and realising I can't progress because I used whistles earlier in the level and there are enemies blocking the way. Other than that I enjoyed it a lot. Once again the art is lovely, and I enjoyed the soundtrack too.

Not sure why I lost when I did but this is really cool!!! I do think past a certain point you don't really have to do anything to not lose, but at the beginning it's so tense having to switch between your mouse and your keyboard to type and defend the OS. Love the idea and the visuals are great too!

Wow this is amazing! Really cool and well-implemented idea. I liked how the bpm kept increasing as the levels went on. Was a bit hard to remember which key was which sometimes, but I loved it other than that. The glow effect you're using is lovely.

Made it to what I think is the end? Surprisingly fun! I like how you implemented the theme and I enjoyed the additional mechanics you had in there too. Good job :)

Wow I loved this! The soundtrack was great and I thought the time freeze mechanic was sick! I love how you get sent back so you can watch it in real time. Super cool.

Absolutely peak. Loved the use of the whistle in this, and I enjoyed the whistle a lot. Wish there was a crosshair but other than that great stuff. Thank you Biga for the emotional support.

Lovely game, I really enjoyed it. I had some issues with buttons not continuing to be held down in time freeze, but it never came up to where it actually affected my progression so it wasn't too bad. I also think that maybe the whistle noise could've been a bit less intrusive with how much you press it, but otherwise I enjoyed it a lot! I especially enjoyed the visuals and the soundtrack :)

First try B). Was pretty down to the wire though. I thought it was pretty fun :) I think the visuals and sound come together well to capture a lovely atmosphere. I thought the gameplay was pretty fun too! Only critique I have is that it's a bit too easy maybe. I only had 3 seconds to submit at the end but my chaos meter only ever hit 25% or something like that. Otherwise great game!

Awesome game! Is really stressful tbh but I thought that was a good sign lol. Made it to 410 on my best run.

Just cleared the true ending! Was really fun! I love how it's kinda multiple games in one depending on how you play. I thought the penguins were very cute and I liked how the boss looked lol.

I wish you could just hold down the button to shoot once you got to the boss section cos clicking so much kinda hurt my fingers. Otherwise was great. Random but I thought the animation for the boat repairing itself looked great.

Fun game! I really enjoyed. I thought the art and animations were really good.

I got it by just clicking on everything there was to click I think

Funnily enough, this is also my first jam and game, and one of my original ideas when brainstorming at the start was pretty much exactly this lol. Loved it. I'll keep it in mind to play when you update it. Great job! I liked how there was an alternate, faster solution if you figured out earlier than you have to that you should use yourself to climb up a section (that sounds so obvious reading it back but I got caught up in using myself in the water because of how you introduce the mechanic). I was gonna say I'd like to be able to get rid of blocks (froze one on top of the first spawn point that was a bit annoying), but I see ur already planning on working on that.

Also loved the art!

I didn't manage to play much of it because it kept crashing when I was crouching, but I really liked the audio. I'm pretty easily spooked admittedly but the ambient noise really put me on edge. Nice game!

Hello, dev here!
How is closing argument causing issues for you as a laptop user? There are some things I can assume from the post you're replying to, but I'm not entirely sure, and I'd like to know more so I can get a better idea of what needs to be improved.
