It’s hard to say that someone is a bad person just because they copied that person’s style. It’s a bit disappointing that they couldn’t add more of their own identity to it, but it doesn’t seem like they’re supporting the original creator.

When I first saw the game’s introduction, I thought it might be a sequel to Bad Parenting. I continued to get a similar impression while playing the game as well.

The most disappointing part was the Korean translation and font issue. A lot of the dialogue was broken, so I ended up missing some lines and had to guess the meaning from the context. Because of that, it was somewhat difficult to follow the story while playing. In particular, having to keep piecing together the flow of the story through broken Korean text became quite frustrating, and I eventually lost immersion and turned the game off.

The art style was very cute and charming. The way the children, who looked like they were not even old enough to attend elementary school, moved and acted was adorable, and the overall visuals were impressive. However, there were moments where the characters’ way of thinking did not feel like that of actual children, which broke my immersion. For example, it felt somewhat unnatural that a child could understand an overdue electricity bill notice and then indirectly describe it as a letter from their mother.

The horror elements were relatively simple, and the story-driving elements also felt fairly predictable. Because of that, some sections felt more boring than tense or interesting. In the later part of the game, the collision setting when opening doors was also inconvenient and interrupted the flow of gameplay. There was also a bug where the map was not visible, which made progression more uncomfortable.

Overall, the cute art style and atmosphere are definite strengths, but the broken Korean text, awkward character writing, simple horror elements, and some bugs and control issues lowered my immersion. The concept itself was interesting, but following the story through the Korean text issues felt tiring from the start, and the game left me with a lot of disappointment in terms of overall polish.
