For this Alpha build, we’ve added some art and background elements to help better visualize the world of our game, cozy vibes included.
Alongside the core mechanics (rolling, jumping, Echo teleportation, and size-changing), you’ll get to try out level-specific mechanics such as:
Gates & switches
Water and pressure plates
Firefly-lit invisible platforms
Each level depicts a simplified showcase of how these elements might appear in our final game, just enough to get a feel for the mechanics, mood, and movement we’re aiming for.
We’re still fine-tuning the puzzle difficulty, pacing, and visual polish, so your feedback is super valuable! Whether you’re here to test or just chill, thank you for playing. Take your time, enjoy the scenery, and never underestimate the power of the scout's code mighty rolling panda.
Tutorial – Dawn Learn to roll, bounce, press buttons, and use your Echo ability: leave behind a bamboo mark, teleport forward, then bounce back when you're ready.
Level 1 – Daytime(Designer: Hao Liang) Focuses on switches, gates, and Echo teleportation. This level helps you get comfy with core mechanics and teaches the bear basics of spatial puzzle-solving.
Level 2 – Evening + Rain(Designer: Jun Shen) Weight-based puzzles enter the scene. Size matters. You’ll sink in water or activate pressure plates depending on how many pandas you’ve collected.
Level 3 – Night(Designer: Melony) Fireflies light up invisible paths and platforms. (Press E to interact) This one’s all about exploration and planning as some places are only accessible if you’re the right size, or if you’re willing to take a leap of faith.
