I'm sorry you encountered the same bug twice. I noticed it in my play testing as well and thought I had fixed it. I think its because of a code smell (waiting for an animation to finish to respawn you) that you are stuck in that limbo.
The resolution does not fit the web page. Also space + shift seems not to be working so I can't get past the tutorial. Some spelling mistaktes. Good: I love the idea and the cutscene is very cute!
