I supported this game suuuuper early on (i.e., when Dimitri's route was finished, the Discord was new-ish, and Caine's route hadn't yet been completed), but I had a hostile encounter there with whomever was the developer/head of the game production at that time.

The whole issue revolved around how I didn't get a popup at the beginning of the game that I apparently was supposed to get in regard to an issue that I later encountered while playing, so I asked publicly in the Discord about it.

I stayed lighthearted and easygoing, with phrases like "I miss my men, lol" and "not rushing or anything, thank you for such a great game!" when I asked about how to access this thing that apparently wasn't available yet. But...I got a strangely cold reply from the head, but I can't remember if it was also public-facing or through a DM. Something like I "should learn to read" and lamenting on how "no one ever follows directions" in reference to the popup that I did not receive. My public-facing message was deleted as well after I replied to it saying that I didn't appreciate how the head spoke to me in regard to my query.

However,  while I removed myself from the game after that occurred, I happened to see I got an email on it about 20ish hours ago. I see that a TON of progress has been made, and I really did enjoy the game when I played it.

So, although these paragraphs will matter to no one, I did want to say that I'm glad you made such an amazing game that's still actively in development and that, for whatever it's worth, I will support it on Steam as I appreciate the game for what it is, even if I did have that depressing encounter with the head at that time.

I'm a nobody that was burned early on, but, despite that, this nobody is impressed with how the game is still going on strong and a little sad that the growth was not observed in real time.
