Getting an error on Mac that the app crashes immediately after opening and gives an error that it "quit unexpectedly

Is there a way to move saves between versions on Mac?

So which paths got updates in 1.5? The shrunk main character, the grown, or the stayed same?

It probably just is, my laptop is from 2018 so even with the Intel version it's an old one

I'm putting off the second floor of the slime dungeon because I'm curious about the option to submit. I'm shattering more of my soul each day and don't want to go too far into something without progression. How is it that your willpower gets lowered? I'd like to do that if possible before the slime girl and before I get too far shattered

I am also still on .24 not .25, but on mac anytime the menu comes up for an interaction where I give pictures to someone, I get an error screen and have to either rollback the game or ignore the error and skip to a scene with no pictures, even though I have some

I'm not fully familiar with how the innards of a game works. I'm on the MAC version, would this be found at Contents>Resources>Autorun>Renpy>Savelocation.py?

Also for your clarification this is on V1.0, but I didn't see any mention of the bug or a fix in the new update.

I'm really interested in playing this game but once its extracted my mac laptop just hits me with "can't be opened" and unfortunately I don't know anything about what or how to mess with it to fix it. Any ideas?
