The bugs/oversights are quite unfortunate. This was a nice lesson in why crunching on the last night til' 4 AM to finish a project and to submit it without testing, might not always be the best approach haha.

I really hate that this bug made it through, it's caused by changes in timing due to exporting the project and wasn't an issue in-engine. It's been fixed for a patched release that's on my profile since it irked me so much, although that is irrelevant to the jam submission.
