Any chance we'll be seeing an add-on expansion pack, with some cannons that we can put on those towers, and maybe some sections of walls?

This happens about once or twice a decade since the early 90s due to US obscenity laws opening hosting platforms and/or payment processors to liability in courts. Usually they target sex work of one type or another, this time its games.
One of the few work arounds I've seen used successfully over the years is to host the actual content on web hosting services provided in a country that is more accommodating of adult materials. Usually somewhere in Europe.
Then on your normal platforms, including social media and platforms like itch you basically host a sanitized blog, and offer a subscription, a way to purchase virtual tokens, or a way for people to donate to support you and/or your company. Another option is to just make the game completely free, then offer in-game donation links. The key here is that supporters are not buying your adult game, they are supporting you personally/directly or they are purchasing tokens that can be redeemed for any number of things.
You then have the option of deciding who gets access to the files you're distributing from your web hosting, and how. If using the token method, you setup a web store that allows redeeming tokens for desktop backgrounds, random PG/free of adult content mini-games, whatever -- AND your adult content. Works best of course when the person/company doing this already has a catalog of both adult and non-adult material they can offer. If using the subscription/donation methods, then you can just email people download info.
The key take away is to separate the monetary transaction from the offending material, ideally in a genuine way (example: access to a blog with private updates about the things you happen to be working on) and then you just happen to give folks a free thank you for their support. And of course to host the actual content in a country that has no legal issues with hosting it.
It sucks, its a lot of extra effort & cost, and it hurts income streams and can be devastating to individuals that depend on those cash flows to pay the monthly bills.
Good luck!
