Hi, yes you can still join, and yes it's ok to use local AI and some human code, about the Qwen voucher we will try to send it as soon as possible but we depend on the Qwen team to review and approve the form when they receive it so it maybe take some hours

Just played it a bit and is so enjoyable, in my opinion is better to just focus on computer at the start and make it a polish game before start with other platforms, with this low amount of time is better have one perfect thing than lots of things at 70%.

About gameplay is cool and with a bit more of work you can have a very fun game

Hi! In my case I use Qwen 3.8 max with OpenCode and the goal plugin for OpenCode.

My advice is to do spec driven development and define properly the specs and always have a design markdown file with reference for the game styles.

What is it?

7 days to build a "vibe-coded" game — any genre, any engine, any scope — with Qwen AI as your creative co-dev. Solo or team (up to 3). Beginners are very welcome: this jam was made for you.

Key dates

- Aug 17–24: Registration opens (only 50 slots, first come first served!)

- Aug 25–31: Jam week

- Sep 1–2: Judging (Qwen rep + dev ambassadors + community playtesting)

- Early Sep: Winners announced

The loot

$300 prize pool ($150 / $100 / $50), unlocked if entries hit the quality bar — otherwise winners receive Qwen token drops. Plus: every registered jammer gets $20 in Qwen Cloud credits to use Qwen for free during the event.
