This was really a nice concept!
I liked how you arranged the whole story and this is quite the premise for a great continuation, maybe with the mechanics getting a little bit more tight and the clues not being told anymore, maybe just with the most difficult clients.

It kinda reminded my of The Sixth Sense or similar narratives where someone has to help the dead find peace.

One thing tho, I got stuck at the third chapter when telling the client about "strawberries". Dunno if it's intended because the story was cut short by time, or if it's a bug :)

Woah!
I'm so grateful you liked our little game so much!
Coming from the team who made Trench Pigs really means something :)
Thank you for playing and for your kind words. Would probably love to expand the game a little in the future and add a tiny bit of content here and there. I guess I just need to persist and see how things will go!

WOAH! This was a blast!

Everything was on spot! The jagged geometry of the art, able to perfectly communica the scene while perfectly conveying the dehumanizing aspect of war, covering the identity of the soldiers with shapes and colors.
The narrative design is pretty much flawless, with a very clever use of the Arcweave tool, mixing some deduction themes (as seen in Obra Dinn) and some point and click ones.

The only riddle which was kinda off was the third one, but I guess it's a minor inconvenience when the theme and the atmosphere are so haunting and horrifying.

Praises for this team which made such a nice gem!

Despite this being just a prologue of what appears to be a much more longer story, I would say that the narrative intrigued me a lot and I would be glad to continue this once it's done! There is a LOT of content for having been written in just three days of jam and, despite the theme being just on the side-note of things, this is a huge work been made in such a small amount of time!

That's a really impressive amount of work considering the 72 hours time limit!
I won't make too many spoilers, but I've got the True Ending and the big "climax" scene was build up in a very clever and emotional way; I can't really what's about, but you writers know perfectly well what am I talking about :)
