Thanks for your feedback and for playing our game, it's really appreciated! The use of 3D was our main choice because the elevation of the terrain is a key part of the gameplay but we couldn't make a full 3D animated and polished character within the short amount of time. That's why we have a sort of 2.5D which works fine but would have to be improved.
For the missions part, we choose to make them optional to stay in a cozy genre and not a too punitive puzzle game.
