Good luck with that :) and thanks haha

Sure! I remember 2 instances, I don’t think there was more.

  • I went through the shop, the panel opened but I was not able to interact with it. I had to roll my dices again and move in ordre to make a pickup choice. I remember I was low on dices roll, I even think I lost right at that moment (like: rolling dices, move all my pawns and the last pawn I moved went through shop, without the necessary amount of jewels to pass to the next loop). I don’t have the exact context but I hope that helps:)

  • This one might be a feature : I took a “finish line” kind of pickup with a pawn (let’s call him A). On its way there was another pawn which I already moved (let’s call him B). Pawn A went through pawn B. But maybe that’s intended?

Some suggestion on the side:

  • maybe improve the dice selection feedback, I honestly didn’t understand I selected a dice the first time I clicked on it haha

I’ll probably give it another try and I’ll update you if I encounter those situations again :)

Frustrating but very interesting :) Great artwork, really. It feels very polished ! You won, I quit. Congrats!

Great game! I didn’t understand what the game expected from me after the first loop, but then it quickly clicked and I found the concept really interesting. I encountered a few bugs but it really didn’t matter much. Congrats !

Simple yet very fun and beautiful above all. I ended up clipping through walls so I quit but I had a great time ! Congrats :)

Loved it from the very first second ! The audio really fits perfectly, love the art as well. The only things that bugged me out are the collisions with the arrow cubes (if it was smoother, not “bugging out” the audio, it would be better imo) and what feels like stiff controls regarding the jump. Adding a little feedback regarding the different state of jump would probably make it better. Besides that congrats! Great work and great approach of the theme!

Thanks a lot ! At one point we considered displaying a score/timer on the game over screen, but since there isn’t a lot of randomness in the runs, we thought it wasn’t really needed (we also thought the game could be beaten in a few attempts but the boss turned out to be quite a challenge in the end haha).

Thanks so much for playing! We indeed didn’t spend enough time on the balancing, but as long as the final boss could be killed in a few attempts it was acceptable. Hope you had fun like we did !

Thanks! We were also quite “happily suprised” to see how our very first version of the concept answered every need we imagined (and even more than that). We initially wanted the loop to be more complex and look different, but this version turned out to be exactly what we needed.

Thanks so much ! I hope I got all existing bugs :) but there might be some cases I didn’t encounter

Kudos to Robin for that early game design, he really nailed it. Glad you liked it ! I also thought “that game would be amazing on a touch screen” but I haven’t done anything close to a mobile game in years and I wasn’t sure how to approach this, so I decided it wasn’t a priority for a game jam. Indeed it feels quite extensible, happy to see other people actually liking this simple yet fun concept so much that they can easily imagine what more could be added. Thanks again for playing!
