Hi! My submission, You're Fired, was disqualified from Brackeys Game Jam 2026.2, and I’m not sure why.

I’ve realized that the cover image and background image on my itch.io page were AI-generated. I have now removed both and replaced them with non-AI artwork.

The game itself does not use AI-generated content. I apologize for the mistake — I misunderstood the scope of the “No AI-Generated content” rule.

Would it be possible to have my submission reviewed again and potentially have the disqualification removed now that the AI-generated images have been replaced?

thanks, yeah im not sure why it was disqualified i am trying to fix it, do u have any ideas why i might of the cover image was ai generated so that might be why but i have changed it now

Hi! My submission has been marked as disqualified, but I don't know the exact reason.

I suspect it may be because I used AI-generated cover art. If that's the reason, I'm happy to replace the cover art with artwork that was not AI-generated. As of now i have changed all images of the page that were made with AI so now there are no more AI generated images anywhere on my page.

Could a moderator please let me know what specifically caused the disqualification and whether I can fix it and have the submission reviewed again? As I spent lots of time and hard work on this game and i am very new to game development.
