I've only just seen this game now and had the time to play it.
This was so good!! Gosh, I love found family so much and I called it with the plot twist. I love the entire cast, they are all equally kind and sweet.
The dialogue has some moments where I am like "Oh?" (In a good way, as in, it's a in a "I see what you are doing." whilst I smile at reading it).
Everything about this is cozy and lovely, it hits right in the feels.
It's grounded and also optimistic as well, it's nice to read through and play anytime. The beginning was everything needed to get attached to all of them, and although it took a bit to get to the time-travel premise, ultimately, getting to know Rev, Kael, Xander and Scott was a great experience and I would replay and rewind playing that memory again.
I also love the creating the poem or the diary moments. The different options let you as a person express yourself, no matter where you are in life. I enjoyed it a lot. All of the moments Allie shares with the 4 was something I think we all agree wish to stay forever. (Though, I kinda wish we got the option to put all of their input in that one poem writing scene, I would've loved to have a shared poem with each of their own minds and hearts in it.)
And the mystery... I am hooked. It fulfils so much of both the slice-of-life and entices us with everything. The music, the sprites, the CGs, the writing, everything works so well with each other. There's was that one scene, as in the one where we walk home with Xander, where I got so scared because of everything I had mentioned already, it worked so well together and normally, I am a horror fan but wow, you guys do so well with making me care for every single person in this game. (To be fair, I always get attached to everybody but especially in this game.)
