that has no effect on my computer. I brought up the Keyboard Viewer to confirm that those keys were, in fact, activated before i attempted the click drag and it didn't change my inability to grab it with the mouse.

I'm finding it nearly impossible to move the window with the mouse on macOS  :(

I'm clicking all over the top edge of the - where one normally clicks to click-drag and move a window on macOS, but it's as if the click isn't registering. Every now and then (like 1 in 20 tries) i find some magic spot that actually works. When that's happened I've tried immediately after moving the window to move it again by clicking in the same spot, and it doesn't work. It's as if it was an transitory bit of invisible magic.

I can move it with a window manager no problem. I just can't manually position it by click-dragging anywhere along the top of the window more often than 1 in 20 times... if i'm lucky.

You're assuming a village created back in time when people would actually walk into the wilderness and start building stuff. So, sure, for anything before the  late 1800s? or medieval fantasy worlds, but not for the modern day. These days the road always comes first, and if it didn't houses will be destroyed to make way for the roads.
