We agree 100%, We believe we scoped the game a little too big for our first time doing a game jam so we focused on getting the base game done, which did not leave too much time for game refinement. This is something we do plan on continuing in the future, so thank you for your honest feedback, it means a lot coming from another dev!.

Thank you so much for your feedback! This was our first game jam and also our first game working as a team all together so it's really crucial hearing from other devs on what they think! I believe we scoped our game a little too big for a game jam and it being our first one, but I am really proud of all of what we got done in the time frame. We got the foundation of the game done a day before submission, which led to a 15-hour programming session between all of us on balancing the game and last minute bug fixes. The screenshot you provided is of one bug we knew about but didn't have time to fix before publishing, lol, devastating.

In the end, we got the foundation of what we think could be a really fun game once we get rid of a few of these little bugs. I enjoy your idea of adding a function to skip the night and maybe even add in a quick message or tutorial hinting at the shop!

I hope you enjoyed and had a good time playing what you could though! It took us a long time lol.

Can you go more into depth on what doesn't work?

This is a very very early build of the game and we are aware some features aren't functioning well but we'd love to hear what you found!
