Another great title by Zed! More then worth what i paid for it! I am also excited for this series because it looks like Zed will be making this into an anthology based in his world. I have really been wanting them to make more connecting threads between games and to give us a better look at this universe they are creating. Thanks again for another game Zed!

Great game, well worth what i paid for it! Please support this dev!

No problem and i appreciate the consideration! Another quick question, are you taking suggestions for next game, or games setting?

Great game, well worth the money i paid for it.

Also, just a quick question for ol Zed. Are you in need of a 2-D artist for any reason? I would like to offer my services should you ever need one. I wouldn't  mind providing some art to you for free if it helps you to keep pumping out these games. If not, no worries! Just throwing the offer out there!

Loving your games man, keep it up!

Thank you for clarifying!

I'll try to keep this brief. Firstly, to expand on what i said over on twitter a few days ago, I'm a big fan of your games and would love to see more of the world you've created. I think that developing longer games that will give fans a better look into your world, with more engaging gameplay and multiple story paths/endings would do well to maintain player engagement beyond the initial release period of your games. On a side note, your games are the perfect length for a let's play episode, which i think may contribute to why engagement falls off shortly after release.

Secondly, your character designs are a major draw for people, especially artists. Fan art is a HUGE driving force behind the popularity of games and other IPs. To further engage the artist community, you could occasionally use more varied body types while still keeping the appealing qualities intact (The thiccness). This could generate more fanart and artist involvement. Additionally, providing adjustable lighting options in game to allow artist a better look at the characters, or character reference sheets in your games would greatly benefit artists and fans alike. Btw, i love Debora's design, shes very cute!

Lastly, I want to encourage you not to hesitate in charging for your games. Your hard work, fun gameplay, and excellent character designs deserve compensation. Don't assume that free distribution is the only way to gain engagement. You deserve to be rewarded for your efforts.

Sorry if that was a little long winded, i want to also clarify again i absolutely LOVE your games and characters. Please keep up the great work, i look forward to your next title!

Hey Zed! Great game once again! I also wanted to ask if it was okay to post some suggests for future games in terms of gameplay and other aspects? If you arent looking for that sort of feed back, i understand! I just wanted to make sure it was okay before i posted anything. Either way, keep up the awesome work!

TLDR - Really enjoyed this game. Very well made with some nice dark humor. I rate it a solid 8/10. I do have a few small critiques though.

The movement is a little stiff, not sure if there is anything you can do about that but  i dont feel much difference between the walking and running speeds not to mention your character seems to get caught on things pretty frequently.

The hallways are bit too cluttered. There is a lot of running back and forth in this game so constantly having to navigate around all the objects in the hallways gets a little tiring, that, combined with the movement and low running speed can make the game feel like its dragging on a bit too much. I'd suggest removing around 25 to 30% of the debris in the hallways or making the running speed a bit more noticeable while also allow the player a little more freedom when running into certain objects in the hallway.

Another problem was some events failed to trigger. I found myself having to ether repeat certain steps in a storyline or reload the game entirely. Big example was when i was making the cosmic brownies, i had to reload the save file 3 times for the game to finally allow me to bake the cosmic brownies. One more example was the snuff film route, this was actually the story line i wasnt able to finish as the game would glitch part way through the filming. i would kill the other "actor" and it would fail to trigger the next area. The model would be dead, but you could still hear the muffled moaning coming from the area where the model was, the game thought the npc was still alive for some reason. This would happen at random parts of the stage, sometimes for the first victim, the second, the last, etc. I would be locked out of progression and have to reload the save.

Overall though, its a decent game with fun ideas. I have been studying game design and programming lately so i know how tough these kind of games are to work on so dont take anything ive said as downing this project. I hope you will continue to update it. Youre doing good work, keep it up.

Hey no problem, and i appreciate the informative reply. I did notice when i played that some events do turn out slightly differently, such as the deer in the road and the first phone call you receive. I did think that was very interesting and was caught off guard by that, good work! Yes, if you're ever able to pick this project up again i would love to see it tuned up and firing on all cylinders if you're ever able to come back to it. Ether way, keep up the good work. :)

So i tried streaming this game last night. Ill say upfront, i like what this game was going for. The graphics are solid, the voice acting falls on the decent side, and i was genuinely interested in the story. So before you read on i want to make it clear, i liked this game. The part where the monster first shows up was really well done and scared the crap out of me! :) Its just that i can't say i  recommend it due to some issues i encountered. There were in fact,  a few game breaking problems i encountered more than once with this title.

1, Some scripted events seem to fail to trigger.

2, No save feature, i get the feeling that this game was made with the idea of finishing it all in one go, which is fine, but if the game isn't long enough to warrant a save feature, then a check point feature would probably do well with this game.

3, No clear direction for the player. This was probably my biggest personal issue with the game. I don't like games to hold my hand, but i always appreciate clear objectives. A simple journal entry is good enough however, this game doesn't seem to even really hint very well where it would like the player to go. If it was meant to lean on exploration, that would be fine, however then that crosses over with the fact that there is no check point or save feature so if you accidentally corner yourself and get killed, you have to start the whole game over again and since it would appear that some of the scripted events are time based, that can get really frustrating.

4, Sequence breaks. During my stream i seemed to do certain things out of order and ended up bugging out some of the scripted events. I'm pretty sure i caused the creature to de-spawn somehow as well. I would like to call back to the previous issue i stated about no clear direction for the player as i think that some clearer direction for the player would help prevent these sort of things from happening.

Those were the major issues i had with the game. I've recently started studying game design and learning C# so believe me when i say i truly think that none of these issues are cause by lack of competence or negligence on the team who made this game. I completely understand that a lot goes into making games and there are bound to be a few problems here and there. I just thought i should bring these things to your attention as i do like this game and would love to try and play it again once all these issues are ironed out, if you see fit to iron them out that is, if not, thats okay. I'll also include a link to the entire segment of my stream where i played your game. Feel free to scrub through it if you're interested in seeing some of the issue i spoke about. I'm not the sharpest crayon in the tool box so its entirely possible that all these problems were my fault so feel free to point that sort of thing out if anything jumps out at you. Keep up the great work.
