this makes me so happy aaaa!!! we really wanted to capture both the obvious toxicity of their relationship w/ the chemistry they just naturally have and how they can bounce off of one another.. i am very fond of the seemingly opposite characters that, when unraveled, have similar wants and needs. i think theres alot of love for very neat and tidy victims of abuse and neglect that isnt very often seen for messier less ‘excusable’ ones so this is my love letter to those people! debatable whether they changed one another for the better or not but they for sure CHANGED one another hehehe. i was responsible for the art and writing of the fantasy sequences so i rly am glad u enjoyed those!!! i was balancing stream of consciousness w a hopefully coherent enough recollection of events and just observing how the character chews on various ideas and concepts.
