I liked the mechanic of luring the enemy goat into a headbutt. The soundtrack and color palette work very well together and fit the game perfectly—I got the impression that it had a horror-comedy vibe.
I really enjoyed playing it. Congratulations!
I played on PC and couldn’t make much progress at first, but after reading the comments and discovering the game supports mobile controls, the experience changed quite a bit.
The sound effects are really nice! Your game is fun, congratulations! I think you should keep working on this project and turn it into a great 2D platformer. It has the potential for that!
I couldn’t finish the game because I got stuck at one point in the third stage and kept respawning and dying without being able to escape. Dying after falling off the platform without a clear collision reference is also something that could be improved.
That said, your game is really good and feels very complete — congratulations! I also thought the precision challenges were very well designed.
Thank you for your review! About the camera shake, I added it intentionally to create a stronger sense of impact, but maybe it didn’t work equally well for every player.
As for the dragonfly boost, you need to press jump to gain extra height, so the boost becomes stronger if you hold the jump button right after colliding with the enemy. I’ll think about ways to improve that mechanic!
I usually struggle with jumps and traps that require a lot of precision. In your game, though, that never hurt the experience — it actually made the gameplay more interesting. I also didn’t feel like the game needed a higher checkpoint or more jump forgiveness, since the square-shaped objects made movement easier to read and calculate. Great work!
