True but there HAVE been romance visual novels with a route that lets you not pursue anyone like Errant Kingdom and Our Life: Beginning and Always. People are asking for potential poly routes but they scoff at ace...?

Man... the people here.  Like it's odd of people to downvote me when I'm just asking. It's just one option out of many. It's not like it'll remove the romance aspect of the visual novel if one route doesn't have any romance.

I actually really enjoyed the fighting part of the game. 😭 When I first encountered it, I didn't know half of what I was doing tho lmao.

Don't worry, I played as a guy and sometimes there were she/her pronouns. Probably a couple of mistakes.

i personally prefer named characters cuz im not a fan of self-inserting so ty for this

it's a fairly short game with around 5-7 endings, has a pretty dark tone to it. i do agree it needs a demo tho, maybe for just 1 ending.

I bought the rest on steam cuz I got so invested in their relationship lol 10/10 would spend my whole life with Cove again.

There sure are a bunch of areas where you can softlock yourself into progressing the game due to map issues. I got stuck in an infinite loop of dialogue two different times. 1) telling me to put books away 2) checking the door downstairs even when I'm at the lowest area of the map. I had to slog through several unskippable prologue dialogue just so I can get back. I had to make it a habit to constantly save but my god, it was stressful. This game is far from complete.

I was gonna try romancing one of the characters but I got so into roleplaying as a good and honorable knight, I'm just gonna go through the whole thing for the plot lol! Great stuff so far! :D
