This game is awesome and has so much potential, if the controls were a little easier. I love the cute monsters!

Tomorrow (August 29th) I will be streaming on Youtube to play (and rate) as many games as possible! Please leave your game in the replies if you'd like to see me play it! I can't wait to show off so many cool games!

(Due to technical issues we had to restart!)

Streaming NOW! I'm so excited to see how many game suggestions there are! Here's the link:

This will be my first game jam! I only started practicing game dev a week or two ago and obviously have a lot to learn. I plan on making something really simple for the jam, just to prove that I can make something that isn't a direct clone of some tutorial.

In the meantime, I'm trying to train as much as possible. Do you guys know any tutorials that you like that you think I should play around with? I have a very basic understanding of Unity, so any Unity tutorial would be greatly appreciated!

Also: Good luck with the jam everybody! I hope to play a lot of fun games!

This is my first jam too! I'm also using Unity. While I don't have any experience to give advice from, what everyone has told me is not to worry too much about if you finish or not. Focus on learning something new and getting to know the community. To prepare, I've been practicing by following a ton of Unity tutorials, so hopefully I can adapt my skills to whatever theme is announced.

Even though winning and even finishing isn't important, especially to us first-timers, some advice I've gotten and plan on following to make sure I submit is to get a working game as soon as possible and add polish and all that later. So then even if your game isn't done, you can still submit something that is technically playable for the jam!

Best of luck! I hope I can play your game when you submit it!
