That's fair, I'm very much a programmer, not a story teller, and probably didn't leave as much time to work on that as I should have.

Thanks, glad you like it!

Just curious to hear what concepts everyone else is building for the jam. I'm working on a text based tower defence game, cause I've been wanting to build a TD for a while, and the text based nature is an interesting limitation to play with.

Sorry about that, jam made me rush that at first, made a quick update to fix that and allow mouse controls now!

Personally I found the deadline to be fine. It gave me long enough to come up with an idea and work out a way to make it work, but was also short enough to keep me focused and not let scope-creep overwhelm me too much, I had a ton of fun with this jam, and I'd love to participate again if another pygame jam happens in the future.

Yeah, sorry about that, I realize its not the most intuitive way for a menu but I've had bigger issues that needed addressing first and just never got around to adding mouse controls.

Heya, I made the menu quickly so it uses the arrow keys to choose an option and then enter to select it. Did this not work? I'll try and get a quick update to allow mouse control too

Nice game, well done!

Are we allowed to use art made before the jam?
And are we allowed to use art made publicly available such as that on open game art?

Do we submit the actual python code, or are exe files etc accepted?
