Hi, glad you figured it out! The itch version probably lacks some useful information on items.

We now have a new demo and a time-limited playtest with a much newer version, which includes much more content and UI/visual improvements. You can check it out on Steam!

Cool game, love the concept! Huge thanks for the audio settings 🙏

Got squished ahah. Cool graphics. If you added a bit more details it would be perfect. Mouse sensitivity is through the roof. Still a good game and a great visual work

Great visuals. Song seems to be out of sync or something. I like the concept very much.

Dark atmosphere is there. Great melancholic vibes. Whistle seem a bit 'force'. Why does the mage use whistle as a weapon? Still great work!

Wow such a great color palette. Nice graphics. Gameplay is a bit hard by my taste, but still a solid game!

Reminded me of Warcraft somehow... Cool fun concept

Cute and simple. Gameplay is easy, music is funky

Amazing atmosphere archieved by minimal visual and audio instruments. Great game

Very solid design. Visually stunning. Gameplay is simple yet addictive

Nice visuals, if it is handdrawn for the fest and not a sprite pack it's awesome

Very consistent graphics and juicy gameplay.

Reminded me of those old day DOS games. Good old 'Find Waldo' game style. I wish theme and object was more needed for gameplay, but still a fun ride

Nice minimalistic visuals. Core mechanic is also fun. Theme implementation seems a bit 'forced' but gameplay is smooth and good.

Nice music, cute and heartwarming concept. Some animations would not hurt! Anyways great work

Looks like the freeze factor is me. Nice concept

Had a great time using my own tactic! Love the concept

Thanks for such nice little game! It reminds me of Transformice a bit

Pretty nice little game, took about 5 min to complete. Love how the freeze mechanic is used here

Love the game! Reminds me of the mini-games from pummel party

Thanks 🙏

There's a full walkthrough on the page if you want a more chill gameplay without struggling

Also played your game, great job!

Good short game. I checked the controls, but during my first few tries I forgot about the shift key completely.

Probably, holding shift instead of toggling it might feel better. Anyway, nice game!

Thanks! I also played your game, love it

Love the concept and how simple it is. The game is fully playable with just two inputs.

But now i hate slow driving cars...

Thanks for the kind words! Will check out your game soon too

Hi, after getting some sleep, we finally managed to add a better tutor and a full walkthrough on the game's page

Thanks for checking it out!

Will play your game soon too

Hi, It was a bit of a heart attack. We uploaded the game but forgot to actually submit it to the jam. Now we have this leet badge "1 second before the deadline"

The second heart attack happened when I realized the web version wasn't working because I messed up some file paths in the final moments. God bless admins for allowing bugfixes

Thanks for playing and testing the new tutorial!

Honestly, I still can't believe everything actually works. We didn't even have time to test these mechanic.

Will check your game soon!

Hi, Maybe you have sound disabled on whole itch or your browser might not work well with godot 4.6 builds, idk

Anyway, if you're still interested in how the purple room puzzle is solved, you can check the full solutions list on the game's page that we just added

Thanks for playing! Will check out your game soon too

Hi, yeah, now I understand that a puzzle game isn't something you can really do properly in just two days, but here we are

At least admins allow updates for bugfixes and tutorials, so we added a better tutorial and a full walkthrough on the game's page

Thanks for playing! Will check out your game soon

Hi! Thanks

We just updated some texts in the tutorial and some hover hints. Hope it helps to better understand what's going on

There's also a full list of solutions on the game's page now

We’ll check out your game soon!

Thanks!
While developing the game, I had an ideal tutorial in mind that would explain how time travel can be used to solve puzzles. But at the end of the day we barely even managed to add sounds and submit the game. As you can see, it literally says "1 second before the deadline" on this page...

Anyway, we've now added two mini-dialogues that help explain how items work with time travel and show how to solve the purple room button puzzle. There's also a full list of solutions on the game's page now, just in case you're interested

We'll check out your game soon and thanks again!

Hi, thanks!

We just added a better tutorial. I hope it helps explain how time travel works here

But if you just chill gameplay , there's now a full walkthrough on the game's page

We’ll check out your game soon!

Hi! Thanks

Yeah, puzzle gameplay without proper testing probably wasn’t the best choice for a jam. But here we are 🤤

If you're interested in the solutions, we added a full walkthrough on the game's page.

Will check your game soon!

Small update:

1) we finally managed to sleep.

2) added small tutorial at start

3) you can find solution for all puzzles on game's page under spoiler (red block)

Hi again! We added a better tutorial (hopefully). We also added full solutions list for each puzzle on the game's page under spoiler. Feel free to check it out!

Hi, thanks for playing!

Yea, I went crazy while designing puzzles. We actually had x2 more weird ideas, but we had to cut them because of time. We tried to add a few hints, but I think it's still too hard.

We'll think about how to make the hints better tomorrow. Right now we all need to get some rest...

Will try your game tomorrow too!

Hi! I think we may have gone too deep with the time travel puzzles.
The solution is actually pretty simple, but it's hard to understand the first time.

Thanks for playing!

We'll try to add a better tutorial tomorrow

Time travel consequences spoilers

If you perform an action and then go to the past, all actions are rolled back. So you need to do something and then travel to the future.

Basically, you just need to create a save (example 0:50), wait some time and then create another save (example 1:15).

Load the old save. Now you're at 0:50 and you can travel to the future at 1:15. This lets you perform actions that will have consequences in the future.

The first purple room is a playground for time travel.

Try to sSave near the button, then go to the door, wait a bit, and create a new save. Then load old save, press the button and load the "future" save. Button pressed in past = door is open in future. But you still on your position

New demo available! 🎰

Patch note here: https://makoteam.itch.io/slotornot/devlog/1040500/v003-new-demo-and-news

Hi, we just updated the demo and moved the arm to the right. thanks for that! We’ll take note about sound design and see what we can do. For now, at least the music/SFX sliders work better, so you can make it quieter
