So i don't know what's wrong with this game, but as soon as i hit play on the main menu the game gets all laggy and choppy during the interrogation scene. And then when i finally get in game the FPS drops to around 20. My computer isn't high end, but it should be decent enough for a game like this, but it very laggy and choppy. I was looking forward to playing it, but it seems like i'll have to skip this one.

Ok another thing. So i haven't finished the game yet, but a minor issue that I've been having is that it's really hard to see certain things due to the flashlight being only in the center of the screen. I understand that it's suppose to fit with the theme of darkness and horror, but I've gotten stuck quite a few times because of items i need being totally obscured by darkness. For example In the back yard where the dead body was i had absolutely no idea there was a key in the grass to the right of where the body was because it was completely hidden in the dark. i only found it because i watch a LP of someone who made it to that same part. Again don't get me wrong, this game is well done. I just wish you could shine the flashlight around more instead of just the center of the screen as that could lead to players getting completely stuck because they're missing an important item that they simply can't see.
i just finished this game and it was amazing!
But i have a couple questions:
1. How did you get involved with beyond Shadowgate? Did Zojoi see your work with infested and spectacle and contact you?
2. I saw that the spooky mansion was named "Themeire mansion" was that going the be the theme of the Themeire game you had planned before you canceled it?
3. any other projects you have planned in the future?
Oh that's too bad, but it is what it is. Beyond shadowgate should be good though looking forward to it. But i have a few more questions:
1. Does this game take place in another world entirely that is inspired by Arabia or do you just get sent in the distant past?
2. Did you come up with all the puzzles and deaths yourself or did you have to brainstorm with a team?
3. When you watch a stream or a let's play of someone playing Spectacle, what's the funniest way you've seen someone trying to solve a puzzle knowing that it wouldn't work?
