Cool concept and the graphics are cool. A bit hard to understand and strategise, but with some more iteration that can be fixed and it could work really well.

A bit of a stretch for the theme. But making something cool trumps keeping with the theme in my book.

Thanks for playing and the feedback. Much appreciated!

Hey thanks for playing. Feedback is spot on and noted. The physics definitely need work. Cheers!

Very tightly designed game with simple mechanics that add up to challenging puzzles that require dexterity too. The art style looks deceptively simple, but the fading shades, pulsing shape, satifying bouncing of the dots that work really well. The bullet time is great.

Awesome entry.

Interesting game. I was intrigued by the mysterious atmosphere of the lonely pod and it's small vieport. Also the mission statement was mysterious.

Took me a short while to figure out the controls, especially the grappling hook. I rejected a highly infected pod anddocked one with low infection. After that all pods were too far away to grab and I just sat there a while before finally hitting the exit button.

I liked the low poly minimalist interior too.

My biggest gripe was that the pod couldn't rotate 360 degrees, so at one point I could see apod but couldn't get to it without rotating all the other way first.

Interesting premise and the story elements are well done to set the atmosphere. The gameplay was too opaque for me to really understand what to do. I just randomly sacrificed some people and managed to sleep for a day, but I had no idea if I was making any progress.

I feel there's some deeper gameplay and strategy underneath all this, but it's not clear at this point.

Thanks for playing and the constructive feedback. Cheers!

Cool concept and pretty fun too.

Lovely graphics and fun idea.I wish there was gravity though, since at this point the speedof launching doesn't really matter for the trajectory and there could be a col skill element in that.

Worth iterating further on it for sure

So many good things here. Cool concept, engaging puzzles with slowly added mechanics that need to be combined, great polish. And fits the theme well. Hard to criticize this. Amazing job for such a short jam.

Wow, that is a very respectable leaderboard entry!

Thanks for the feedback, and yes I agree. The physics were a bit of a challenge and I wasn't really happy with it yet. Same goes for the gameplay itself. I would hav eliked to add some more mechanics to give the player a bit more agency to influence things. But hey, the gamejam clock is unrelenting, haha.

Cheers!

Thanks for playing and your feedback. A lot of valid points made. I wasn't really happy with the physics/gravity/collisions either, but this was the best I could do in the jam time.

Cheers!

Hey, thanks for playing and reviewing!

The gameplay is definitely still a bit rough. It was way harder than I thought it would be to get the physics and colliders to play nice and there's a lot of room for improvement there. I had a bunch of extra mechanics in mind, but I also wanted it to look cool enough and I didn't have time enough for both. :D

Cheers!

Great entry, stressful in a fun way. Took me a while to notice the buttons to buy extra trucks/ambulances. Was satisfying to dispatch more than one and watch it go way faster.

It bugged a bit and gave me 0% failiure after day 5 (which was not true,I assure you :D), so I got to keep my job, haha.

Cool graphics and music

Graphics are great and a cool concept. It's kinda hard and losing is just a tad too much luck over strategy, but very cool.

I love the detail of the changes dish names when you add substitute ingredients. Awesome entry!

The 2D drawings with the 3D environment work really well and give the game a unique vibe and the silly game premise and dito animations are really selling the joke. Had me smiling all along the ride.

The mini-games are just hard enough to cost you some precious time serving the gameplay well.

The sound department is functional but there's some room there (especially to make the game a bit more silly).

Cool entry!

Intriguing game that's definitely out there. Not sure what to think of it. I followed all conversations to the end, so they were interesting enough. Left me a bit confused, but that's probably the point, haha. The Windows '95 aesthetic was very well done and really sold the atmosphere. Interesting and memorable entry. Well done!

There's some cool things going on here. I liked the atmospheric intro and the background art is absolutely gorgeous. They really sell the vibe. The anime-looking portraits I didn't like so much, but that's a taste-thing, probably others will love it.

The gameplay was challenging at first but learning the boss behaviour was the key (as it should be in boss-games). The game was a bit short, starting with the one and final boss, but that's understandable for a jam game.

Cool entry!

Fun concept and leaning into the silly alien/pyramids premise with the graphics works well.

The combination of flying around abdudctiong animals crossed with the inventory management is a cool idea. I didn't really bother with too strategic placement of the animals, somehow all the properties of the animals were bit too much to handle, so I ended up sticking them wherever. But that's mostly my lack of patience...

It had some performance issues for me at first (especially in firefox), but giving it some time to load/buffer in Chrome did make it pretty smoothly playable in the end.

Thanks a bunch and your feedback is valid (and valuable) as always.
I had making a pinball kind of game in my head for a while, so no matter the theme, that was going to be my entry :D

Getting the actual pinball physics to work somewhat satisfyingly was a lot harder than I thought and I always like to try and make it look good (enough), so I ended up with way to little time to make the pinball gameplay itself deep enough.

Cheers!

You're welcome. Cool entry!

Fun concept and I specifically liked the art style with the outlines.

The game is a bit confusing with not every minigame (seeming) to work and a lot of timers going at the same time. The premise of being in the belly of a monster but it actually being a regular room was a bit weird to me.

The hacker/cyberpunk theme is well done and the terminal interaction definitely gives Mr. Robot vibes.

The music is tense, some extra sound effects (typing, modem sounds, etc) would add more atmosphere maybe.

The text kept scrolling off screen which made the hack challenges very hard since it took precious seconds to scroll them into view.

Cool premise and execution that could become something really cool with some polish

Doesn't work for me, gray screeen after Unity splash screen unfortunately

Hey thanks for playing and the elaborate feedback.

The balancing is definitely off. I olanned to add more pluchies and enemies, but ran out of time. Balancing was done in 15 minutes 😊

Cheers!

Thanks a lot for playing and commenting 👍

Great frantic gameplay, matching music and a steep difficulty curve. What's not to like. Great entry!

Great concept. One room, but no one said it had to remain the same size :D

Original puzzle mechanics, great artstyle, especially the palette works great.

In my playthrough one box fell through the floor never to be seen again, so I couldn't complete it. Was good fun though!

Hey thanks a lot. Glad your little sister liked it too.  :)
My own daughter is actually eight years old, so I had her as a critic right by my side to ensure cuteness (and the pluchie is an exact copy of her favorite  one).

Cheers!

Nice consistent artstyle and i liked the shadows when walking past the lamp. Camera movement was a bit hindering sometimes, since it doesn't make you see far enough ahead, so you have to walk very close to a window to see the zombies.

I had a hard time affording enough upgrades and ammo, but that also me just sucking! :D

Cool entry that fits the theme and the consistent vector art gives it its own aesthetic

Hey thanks for the extensive review and feedback.

Great points for improving. It needs way more balance and depth to become a "real" tower defence game for sure.

I'm still thinking about a way to make enemy pathing more interesting. The flying in a straight line is way too predictable. But have them follow a path through the roomnlike most TD games do feels a bit off. Probably keeping the straight line but adding other enemies that behave differently is the key here, but still thinking about that one.

Cheers for your constructive input!

Hey thanks a lot for playing and the feedback!

Balance and variety are definitely lacking. I spent way too much time on the visuals and had to grind out the gameplay in too short a time. Balancing was literally done in 15 minutes :D

Cheers!

Not really my cup of tea, but pretty fleshed out game for this short jam. Lots of characters and dialogue, minigames and atmosphere. The different endings/paths ensure replayability too, Nice entry!

Cool entry. Real atari 2600 vibes with the graphics. The random upgrades are cool and really add strategy and replayability. The handicaps of reloading and variation in aim are great tools to make you want to get the upgrades to get to higher rounds.

A bit more sound design (though the simple blips fit the atari 2600 vibe) and music would be a good addition I think. Cool stuff!

Very original entry with awesome visuals and art direction. The premise of a goldfish stuck in the same bowl in the same room fits the theme perfectly. Sure there are only a few things to do, but it triggers the drive to explore to see what all the interactions are. And it drives the boredom and monotony of being a goldfish home in a very real way.

Impressive peace of art, kudos!

Wow I was so frustrated, but kept going through 133 deaths to complete it, that says something in itself. Tight controls, challenging gameplay and cool design to have more and more obstacles slide into the same room each round. Awesome entry.

Only improvement that I can think of is the sound which is a bit minimal. But that's nitpicking a very cool game.

I can only imagine the frustrating amount of playtesting this took :)

mASOCHISM! (AWESOME MASOCHISM THAT IS)

I love the personalities of the robots and their banter, gives great atmosphere. The looping room is cool too.

The combining was fun at first, but it had too many stages and became tedious after while. I ended up not finishing it. The "crushing"  move of the arm wasn't obvious, so i was just moving things around at first.

Fun idea and cool execution, just a few steps less in the combining would have made it better. Cheers!

Small bugs: the moving space background sometimes glitches

While a simple game, the bullet patterns and speed had me engaged and it took me a few tries to complete. Had fun!

Some more variation and some powerups would quickly add a lot more depth and it took me 2 deaths to find out space-bar was the fire button :D

Thanks a bunch for the feedback. Gameplay is definitely lacking in depth. I focused so much on the theme and graphics I had to grind in the last 2 days of the jam for some gameplay, haha.

I liked working on in though and might be working on it some more after the jam. More enemies, plushies and upgrades would be the obvious aditions indeed.

Cheers!
