Found out that if you fall between the starting platform and the one with spikes and press left shift at the right time you can skip the (probably intended) path to the bottom platform.
You can also stand on the platform with spikes (it's very precise, getting off it without dying is also a pain). If you press shift on it (or get pushed by it, don't remember exactly) you might end up in the starting platform :).
