I don't think this variable tracker replaces the gdoc at all. The gdoc's purpose to list each character's interactions and the requirements to see them. This just lists the ones you've already seen. A lot of content is behind really obscure requirements that often have only vague, one-time dialogue indicating which other character might have that requirement, and who knows what conditions are placed on seeing that.
I can't imagine how someone who hasn't followed along update by update would find half the content in the game without the guide. They would never even know if they'd reached the end of a character's content, or if there was a bunch more locked behind the chat11 of some other character they thought was also already tapped out on content.
