Amaty has been extremely upfront on other platforms about not liking AI (You can even play the April Fools update IN THIS GAME to see some jabs at it,) and on Patreon often discusses commissions for artists she pays.

And I really feel inclined to remind people that generative AI is trained off real people, you can plug anything into an AI detector and get a relatively worrying percentage, tools like that just don't work these days due to how expansive training centers have gotten.
Source: I work in tech and was fired last to be replaced by gen-AI and the cubicles I worked in got replaced with a server room to run training in.

There's a lot of AI crap on this site, but this game is relatively upfront about not being so and has the evidence to back it up with early sketches and works in progress being shared on other platforms.
Please do research besides "The vibe's off" before accusing an independent creator of using AI.

You don't have many comments so I figured I'd drop in to say I love what you've done with this premise so far and your style is very evocative. I wish I could code half the stuff you managed here too, it feels seamless on the finished content.

You had very justifiable reasons to push free users back but I am so happy to get to play new content again!
Everyone say "Thank you, Amaty!"

So Amaty said on her Patreon that the public version will be 4 updates behind going forward. It used to be 2 and we're currently at 3 so it's gonna be at least one more month it looks.

Happy one year! Mirror's Curse has quickly become one of my favorites in the IF genre and I'm super excited to see what the next year brings. It's lovely to have some transgender joy in this world considering what's happening right now and I'm very grateful for your work.
So thanks a lot and take care!

Its out of itch's hands, sadly. This is a payment processor issue and the 20-odd people at itch can't fight the demands of Mastercard and Visa alone.

I hope things improve, thankfully there's a bill in the works that might just be able to kick this all in the head.

Until then, try and support your favorite nsfw creative any way you can. Money's gonna be tight the next little while.

Due to Mastercard's new policies on adult content, itch has decided to hide any games tagged as adult or erotic.
Steam's doing it, too and so are a bunch of other retailers.

If you'd like to prevent this from going on, here's an ACLU petition to help: https://action.aclu.org/petition/mastercard-sex-work-work-end-your-unjust-policy

These games are important.
Truly important. They represent so much about so many marginalized groups. Even if they are light in tone and the people are very supportive for the most part, they acknowledge so many real-life issues with the world. I cannot express how much of an impact you've made on people. I know this may seem hyperbolic, but I know so many people who are trans or aspec that walked away with something real from these cute little games.
So thank you. For real.
