Yep they're just 'tank controls' so you move in the direction you're facing with the UP key. I'll debate how necessary that is. Also, my bad will add WASD

Hey great point! I'll also debate tank controls if they're really necessary and what they actually add to the game. Best if the player starts in the middle facing up, then it won't so confusing.
