oops I didn't upload the photo properly lmao. Trying to see if this works now

Very fun, a moodern day classic! I stumbled onto something where sideways cones would stablize me better than upright cones.

Couldn't get to any tutorial or get any menus to pop up :/

Cute art, fun mechanic!

Heavy shotgun recoil lol

I would love this game, if I didn't suck at it -_-

Thank you :D

Very fun to make number go up, wish there was a "You win!" screen but just shooting off fireworks is fun enough.

Great concept for a puzzle game, just needs a bit more polish (Tutorial, graphical clarity, the stuff I'm sure you already know lol), hope you keep working on it!

Thank you! Glad I could convert you to the cult haha.

And yeah python was regrettable, but it was an educational challenge hah

Another solo dev! Interesting idea but a few things that made it a bit hard to get into proper.

- No prices on the items

- Couldn't see where I was allowed to place things

- Didn't know what each building did before experimenting

Overall, idea has potential but the limitations of solo-development in a gamejam makes it difficult I get it haha. Hope you keep working on it!

Fun time! Platforming is veryyy heavy but the concept is fun, managed to only have a debt of 48k by the end of it

Gorgeous art style!

Classic platformer, nice music and great art. I found it pretty difficult to figure out what was active and what wasn't active, because some platforms didn't seem to switch even though they had blue on them? Other than that, controls were nice.

Simple and fun game! Brain could not comprehend how to properly manipulate my fingers when they were all mixed up like that haha. Got a score of 8

Yeahhh, I tried making an HTML5 version but working on this in Python made it so laggy it was almost unplayable, figured it would hurt my score more than help lol

Thank you so much!

Thank you! And yeah spent lots of time getting all the bosses made (and working) lol

unsubtle inspiration lol

A classic block puzzle game, very fun, like the art style, I made it to level 9 before my brain gave up due to stupid, enjoyed what I played though!

Oh hell yeah, gimme the block based puzzle games. Love the idea, only things I'd nitpick would be some control things, specifically having to walk around the block to grab the result of my equation.

I'll be honest I got too scared and couldn't play for very long, atmosphere brought me back to trying to play slender man as a wee lad, so bravo for that lol

Really cute art style! I was a bit confused by the controls at first but that's because I don't read tutorials haha

Absolutely the best comment I've gotten so far, thank you so much!

Pretty much agree with everything you've said, you figured out how I beat her as well and probably the only way to beat her still haha.

In terms of different sides of dialogue, yeah about halfway through I realised "it'd probably be good if I added a border and placed all the UI in there" but my code was too spaghetti to do anything about it at that point sadly, thinking for version 2 I'll have it that all EM1-LY dialogue will be on the right and literally everyone else on the left in nice dedicated boxes, with of course a dialogue history viewer for catching comments you miss.

And thank you! I call it a binding of isaac clone because that was the main inspiration (along with Hades lol), glad to hear it has surpassed being mere imitation!

Tweaking and balancing is absolutely the name of the game for for 2.0, the code re-factor (and getting the game off of python and into an actual game engine by god) should make it a hell of a lot easier to tweak these things.

The art is going to get a majorrr overhaul in 2.0 as well. I'm planning out a puppet system and a more traditional view as opposed to the directly overhead thing I've got going on now.

Once again, thank you so much! Really glad to hear someone beat the game :D

Really fun time! Glad to see the ambiguously gendered wizard getting the romance options they could've always wanted

Awesome art, gameplay idea is fun, controls a little bit wonky for me (Though that might be my keyboard admittedly).

I was hoping to see a narrative change by doing the "lets everything break apart" run after playing through the levels but probably a little ambitious to ask for a gamejam haha.

Thank you! And yeah the idea of constant comms stuff seemed like a fun idea until I realised no one could read it haha. Version 2.0 is going to have a completely different art style.

Great art, feels like playing a GBA puzzle game

I had fun trying to beat a level in one loop just to say I did, managed to do it with the level closing shift I believe.

Great art style! I had a few times where I was gonna put my pig down and changed my mind, then it went down and I had to reset, a bit of polish on the controls would make this a peak web puzzle game!

I wasn't able to become the big cheese -_-

Fun game, keep it up!

Feels like there's a plot that I'm missing

Great art and music for a good ol' fashioned rat smasher game. It really makes you feel like Charlie Day

The art that was there was great, I don't know if I misunderstood the game but seemingly I wasn't getting any benefit from anything, couldn't figure out how to open anything either. Plus the placeholder simple shapes dragged it down a bit for me. Boss art looked really cool though.

Love it! A great excuse to learn Go finally, I still suck at it so the upgrades were very much appreciated. Plus the art style is fantastic! Great work.

Fun graphics

Really fun! Love the graphics, feels like gunning through LCD Dream Emulator

Thank you thank you, I had a delusional vision come to me after waking up at 3am to see the theme.

Yeah tutorial was something of a "oh no I only have a few hours left I should really explain in game the controls." thing. Version 2 is gonna have a prologue mission/tutorial when I refactor this haha

Thank you so much!
