Hey MetallicOnyx, I played you game (because I love these vanilla asset games), and I have some feedback! (I posted on Discord too, but I'm reposting here in case you miss it)

It's a pretty short game, but that's fine, it's how someone's first game should be. I see you used various types of events (fade in, fade out, conditional checks to see if David had eaten or turned the power on, show message, teleport and probably switches or variables, play BGS), which is pretty good.

I was expecting the scene where the power goes out to show the house actually become dark though. You can do that with the Tint Screen event command, which you could add to the end of the kitchen scene and then again after the light is turned on.

The battle was fine, I was expecting it to be harder so I started it by defending to gauge the Intruder's attack, but turned out he couldn't damage David.

I don't know if that was intentional (because of the ending I got after, it would make sense), but if it wasn't, you just need to increase the enemy's ATK to be at least equal or a bit higher than David's DEF. It ws a slightly tanky enemy I felt like.

I was surprised the game had multiple endings (I'm assuming only the two I got), I wasn't expecting that! I also enjoyed the interactions with the objects in the house, it was a very nice touch.

Good job there bud. It's a tiny game, but you did a good job. I can't wait to see what you'll make next!

Oh my god I love this so much! This is the perfect expansion to Bitsy, which is frustratingly limited. But Whimsy is such a joy to work with, it's so easy to make small games in it...

I only wish there were more functionality to make a bit more complex games, and also a way to hide the whole UI around the game so it only displays the Scene, like the original Bitsy.

Either way I love it, and I can't wait to make more games in it. The HD version is already on my wishlist for the future, its gonna be amazing!

Thank you!

Thank you for your feedback! You're right, I didn't predict the game could be too difficult for other people... I tried to have the NPCs in the town give tips for the player so they can take advantage of the skills in order to defeat the enemies.

I have no plans of keeping working on this game though, it was just my attempt to try to learn how to make one. I will however do better next time!
