I don't have dyslexia but I do have an astigmatism and I had to pass over three games and struggle through some others because of font choices, so I'm glad to see someone else brought it up. Certain fonts look great as titles but don't work in big blocks or at smaller pt sizes was the most common issue.

I know on https://www.w3.org/WAI/test-evaluate/tools/list/ you can sort by "document" on the left and it gives you a few options to check PDFs and other files for legibility by screen readers and other accessibility devices.

Love love love all the flavor text. I'm a sucker for that kind of thing. Especially Brawl Battle

Also appreciate that these are all fairly fresh spins on characters, as opposed to just grabbing a famous vampire to throw in. Like they're still recognizable tropes, but other than the unapologetic "extra", none really felt like they were meant to be a specific character I recognized.

I do wish you'd used some different font choices in places (had to grab my glasses) but other than that this is a straight to the point addition to freshen up the game. Great job.

Love the concepts for both the character and the enemies! Both perfect for the setting as well.

There's something really fun about how... almost cute? the Grotesques are in the art. I don't know, they're just really good. And it's a great contrast with them being absolute menaces to actually deal with.

Also gg on not calling them gargoyles XD

I nearly forgot to say that I love the extra touch of the sculptors having nothing to do with the creation of them, A+.

For starters, I am absolutely delighted by the "brief history of the fire engine" oh my goodness.

I don't know if you were going for Discworld but that's what I'm getting from the setting, which is a compliment from my perspective and I hope from yours. Actually I think you might have a book/story in here too if you wanted!

Character sheets are wonderfully done! I love how much personality is just in the poses alone, so many props to your artist, wow. And the sheets aren't overwhelming, which two page ones can easily be.

It's interesting that you give the disclaimer early on that people need to be familiar with games already because you've done a really great job at breaking things way down to be very accessible to new gamers. The scene by scene breakdown I can see being especially great for new GMs! I'm picturing handing this off to a determined teen or young adult to host at a family gathering because they're really into Dimension 20 and want a starting point.

Flashbackdrafts are such a solid pun on top of being a great way to allow rerolls.

I had two suggestions and both feel like nitpicks with how much time you've put into this:

I would love to see what your vision for the fire engines actually looks like! Unless I missed it somewhere I don't think any of the wonderful illustrations featured the actual Lexie in full and I feel like it would really add to it, though I understand something that complex is a lot to ask of an artist.

I know this feels like a wild thing to say about a 56 page document but I do feel like the text needs more room to breathe in some places, especially in the earlier pages - all of Safety on its own page, all of Characters on its own page, etc.

Basically I just feel this is a really great, really thought out game and just another pass of polish could make it perfect! This is definitely going in my "to play" pile.

Exactly what it says on the tin in a really fun way, I love the way you've mashed these ideas together.  This is a really solid, ready to play setup.

I really like the art throughout and especially loved the unifying neon lighting you did on the character sheets.

One thing I'd love to see in a future edition would be a map since you've already gone to the trouble of detailing out the locations anyway!

Really solid characters, probably biased as I've lived in the area a long time but they're perfect stereotypes and well thought out in how their resources are balanced.

"When you reduce a Threat to 0, gain 3 Distrust." was probably my loudest laugh of the whole thing.

I love the map! I love the map!

Honestly I just love the whole graphics and vibe of it, fantastic art direction, fantastic aliens.

Thanks for the feedback!

I know a more robust suggestion table or even a couple pre-mapped campaigns was suggested in the discord near the end as well, so not surprised to hear similar here, and definitely something I think I'll add to a future version! I'll leave this one be for now so everyone in the Jam is rating the same version but I've already bulleted out the events from my two test playthroughs to use as starting points.

Just wanted to say that it took me way too long to get the reference but I love this idea all the more now that I did.
