Such a unique approach to time travel! A lot of submissions I've played have had traveling to the past/future, but this may be the first where the idea is pausing time, and doing so through a screenshot mechanic feels very appropriate and was intuitive to figure out. I'd love to play more of this in the future!

Short but sweet! I really love the little player character's design. Additionally, the visuals stood out a lot! (Reminds me a bit of Enter the Gungeon if you've ever tried  it!!)

Also I must say, the main menu was aesthetically chef's kiss! Great work!

There's so many great things I could say about this one! First of all, I really enjoy this flavor of game. I so easily get lost in games where the primary objective is to watch numbers get exponentially higher. (I'd love to know what your inspirations were for it, if any!)

I'd also like to add that this might be my favorite implementation of time travel so far, as you literally can't make it more than 30 seconds in the game without engaging with it in one way or another. Fantastic job overall, y'all killed it!

EDIT: I just beat the game, that was a blast!!!

Amazing work!! This is the first platformer I've played from this jam thus far, and overall it was a really fun experience! The controls had a bit of a learning curve at first, but once I learned to boost upwards with the gun it was smooth sailing from there! It sort of reminds me of the skill curve of learning how to consistently down-pogo in Hollow Knight.

Everything here was super charming! I am a huge fan of the art style especially. If I may offer some small criticisms, I found the controls to be a tad bit unintuitive my first time playing through (maybe could be fixed by allowing you to use either mouse or arrow key controls so you aren't sacrificing the mouse-only controls for those who enjoy 'em). I got used to the controls after a few more attempts though !! :)

Nonetheless, I really enjoyed what I played, and found myself actually encouraged to retry multiple times. Great work!

This really feels like it carries the spirit of old games I used to play on flash game websites back in school (in the best way possible!!) My roommate also really enjoyed this one when he tried it out! Great work!

This was a blast! I love how much life was packed into such small and simple sprites. I really appreciate how every enemy feels fairly choreographed; I never felt like I was punished for anything out of my control. The music of the modern era sounds like something straight out of Terraria, too! Phenomenal work!

I'm really glad that you enjoyed your time playing!! If we do any updates in the future, maybe we can make it where holding down shift will allow you to change direction without moving. Thank you so much for your feedback!

Thank you so much for the lovely feedback!! If we ever do end up updating the game, I will most definitely remake the door tiles to be more obvious amidst the other tiles onscreen :)
