You can press E to erase your shapes!! We ran out of time to include a prompt to actually tell you that during gameplay, it was in the pause menu but nobody has seen that so far :P

This was awesome!! I think it's really funny that we both made a pastry and rodent based game :p

Glad you were able to restart! Getting stuck can happen sometimes, but you can also press E to erase all your shapes which will free you most of the time. Controls are also shown in the pause menu!

Loved it despite how short it was, art was adorable but I do wish the main menu buttons and font were a little more on theme with the rest of the game. Overall this is my favorite game so far :p

yeah fair lmao, I tend to get the opposite, where all my music sounds like heist music even when I'm not trying to :p

I'm realizing that I probably should have made it a little bit clearer which books can be knocked over and which can't. For this section, you can place the ball on top of the ramp above your head.

I had a ton of fun! My only real complaints are that the minions felt pretty unbalanced, the one that gives you extra energy felt super OP, and the others (especially the trickster) just seem like a net loss. The music was awesome, but I wish there was a bit more variety, I got tired after listening to it for like 20 minutes. Otherwise fantastic game!

I just played and rated! got stuck a little early on, I'll go back and play more if there's something I was missing.

our game is https://luxiah.itch.io/a-little-hungry :p

I like it, but I got stuck after stealing the first two guys and not being able to jump up the ledge. It seems like maybe the jump is framerate-dependent? Audio sounds great, art looks good too!

Loved the art in this game but wish there was more to do in a gameplay sense. The concept is super interesting too, and it's amazing that you made this on your own! Excited to see what you work on in the future!

I just rated it and left a comment!! our game is https://luxiah.itch.io/a-little-hungry :p

I like it conceptually, but as someone who hasn't played roguelite deck builders before, I was super lost without a tutorial. It has a lot of potential for sure, and I really like the movement and stealth mechanics, but I was able to get by just spamming whatever cards were first in my hand randomly.

Really fun game! Loved the graphics and concept. Great work!

Yeah that jump is tough, you gotta jump as it’s rolling to get a little speed boost. Not sure what’s up with the sounds, there should be sound throughout all of the game! So glad you liked the art!!

Where did you get stuck? I’m happy to help if I can!!

REALLY enjoyed this game, super fun concept, easy controls, good graphics.

Really enjoyed the art in this game, thought gameplay was fun, didn't realize I could go into debt at the store. Also, you can just replay the tutorial to get more money, not sure if that's intentional. Wish there was more audio during heists. Overall had fun!

I love the art in this game, and think the concept is really cool. I wish that there had been audio and a bit more of a game loop. I think the game could benefit from a tutorial of some sort.

I thought it was really cute! The hitbox on the cat felt a little odd sometimes, and there was a bit of a difficulty spike in platforming (that I didn't end up getting past), but overall I had fun. The text in the menu threw me off a little bit, but I really liked the traditional watercolored textures in the art, looked great!

I wasn't able to pick up the key in the first area, but I really like your concept!

Absolutely!! my discord is @luxiah

This was awesome!! Parrying actually felt so satisfying, I had so much fun

I did it dashless btw :p

just sent a friend request!!

Hey all! I’ve been around the jam scene for a while, I’ve recently started working in film scoring but want to keep building connections and portfolio in the gaming scene. I can work it pretty much any style, my main inspirations are game like Hollow Knight, Celeste, Dredge, Pokemon, and anything remotely similar. My portfolio is available at luxiah.com, or on spotify and other streaming services as Luxiah if you’d like to take a look. Whatever music I make for this jam will likely end up on spotify as well!

Yay, so glad you liked it! There should be hints in the description of the game to help you if you get stuck, I think the main dev is also working on a full walkthrough video rn, so we’ll let you know when that gets posted! We’re also planning to update the game to make it a bit clearer where you’re supposed to go after the jam is over :)

The intention was to play the full sequences! We had the wrong color on one of the popups, so sorry about that! we would have liked to include a bit more of a tutorial, but unfortunately we ran out of time :/

I think that was on your end! if you played the web build, sometimes funky things happen

Yay, I'm so glad you liked it! I did the music and sfx, as well as writing Batty's voice lines (and it seems they had exactly the intended effect!)

I totally agree, we should have added subtitles but we lowkey ended up in a pretty bad time crunch. Maybe we’ll update it post jam!

There was actually supposed to be a sound effect when you got the right combination; it’s in the game files, we just forgot to implement it :/

so glad you like the music!

yeah we had a blast! It was my first time working in 3D, and although I mostly did SFX and music (and a bit of art) it was still such a great learning experience!

I’m on my phone right now so I can’t check out yours quite yet, but I hear it’s RPGmaker 👀, I’m totally gonna give it a try when I get the chance!

I’m on my phone right now so I can’t go check your game out, but as soon as I get back to my PC I’m totally gonna give it a try ^-^

did you guys have fun with the jam?

Yay I’m so glad you liked it! seems like my sound effects did their job ^-^

ah, once you get both pianos correct a door will open up! we were supposed to implement a sound for that but we lowkey forgot. Just keep going! there’s a section of the game you’ll probably like :)

This is awesome! It feels super clean and polished, I suck at puzzle games so I was struggling but I had a blast!

Yay! I'm so glad you liked it, we had a blast making it!

Yay! so glad you like it!

It did! This was my first time working in 3D too, although I mostly ended up doing art and sound design. It was a rush at the end, as always, but it was a blast overall.
