Thanks, I'm still deciding whether to go the app route (asset making, I see a jewelry maker in my future) or game route (customize your clothes/room/town/the whole world), I entered the jam to discover what role suits me better, and app making is winning, but still want my own dress up/style savvy game eventually.

I see, then I need to remake the patterns with adjustable thickness, more layers to come, thanks for trying it!

Thanks, it worked out better than expected, even if a little rough on the edges.

Glad you liked it, you can use your own images for the designs in the download version, plus I think adding a way to draw patterns in the app would be more fun.

Thank you, yeah, it's too easy to end with misaligned patterns, I think that "less is more" applies here, I had to keep it simple in the screenshots, probably the Vertical overlap will get the axe.

I don't remember the last time I enjoyed a puzzle game like this, but this one wants me to come back.

Love me some onion stickers, and even fits a complete story, nicely done.

Thank you, I really wanted to have something done after a few other unfinished jams, and it worked well enough.

Thanks! I hope I can some add some more fun stuff later.

I agree, it just happened that my original jam project flopped and came up with this the last day, so only the bare minimum made it, but it's true that it doesn't feel very game-like right now.

This game is the whole package, specially loved the animations.

Loved it! It's nice and chill, the music sets the mood and I plan to spend some more time doing more pages, the one downside I can think of is when I set a big pattern background and putting some smaller stickers on it and I misclick and it hides everything under. Bonus brownie points for getting everyone on board with their own stickers.

I'll see what I can do, at least complete the original idea.

I want to, the list of ideas/features is kicking, I'll see if I can find some room between 2 other projects before year ends.

Haha, well if you got some enjoyment from the sparks, then it was all worth it, I still have the itch to expand this one,
at some point a patch will read: "You can now wash the mech, it won't help in battle but it will be shiny".

Thanks, the sparks really needed to shine, tho I believe I focused too much in the visual aspect (for the time I had for the jam), the crane camera could work, at the time it was not the only tool you could use, maybe in the future it can be the protagonist.

Thanks, I also like how the title turned out, for the game part tho, unfortunately is quite incomplete,  ran out of time and could not connect the systems in time, and the whole storytelling was via gameplay, so, big oops.

Super chill atmosphere, the music almost put me to sleep (in a pleasant way), the counter feels a bit slow, but fits the theme, so maybe a middle ground to not become casino dopamine speed.

Relatable, settled for a bread filled sandwich.

Really solid, having to option to wrap around the screen edges gave me some (much appreciated) breathing room when it came to avoiding attacks.

Just a heads up, version 1.6 defaults to transparent Background, but if you don't like it or have no use for it and prefer the black background, edit the override.txt file changing the line "display/window/per_pixel_transparency/allowed" from true  to  false, renaming the file to any other name or deleting it works too.

You can press F1 for the help menu, it has the shortcut list, but I somehow missed adding a button for that, also new version soon =D

Yep, pressing S or H  should hide all UI, I'm thinking of adding a small button at the top to hide it when using *only the mouse.

Thanks! Me too wants the dress up part done, missing the glam in the jam left me with just the evilish mermaid part of the project 😅

Yes! Devilish series was a huge inspiration, along other videos talking about "Why are no one making mermaid games?" (along other flash game era talk), I found out the Devilish duo already had a cameo in a mermaid game after finishing this, and speaking of finishing I hope I can make this one play like intended, hopefully I find some time to spare.

Sounds like your best bet is trying the app in Mac or Windows, no terminal required.

Glad to hear the idea came through, the ending ties up to the 3rd level just forgot to leave it unlocked at the end, the title screen even has an easter egg to unlock every stage and all outfits, but time ran out so no dress up and stages only show the description, still want to revisit it later.

You're welcome, I'm adding a couple of features to make viewing images from other apps more streamlined for such cases where mirroring can't work, monitor images in the clipboard / reload a file every few seconds automatically, or manually paste into the app, hope it helps.

Yeah Wayland support would be good, just not a trivial task, it should happen eventually, as Godot Wayland features reach parity with X11, glad to hear the image viewer works, that was the main feature, desktop mirroring was a happy accident a plus .

*Quick test, unfortunately Wayland currently doesn't work with screen mirroring , the method I use in Godot is not implemented on for wayland yet.

It should support both X11/Wayland, right now I can only confirm X11 works, but tell me if something is not working on your side, I'll edit to mention Linux support.

Sup, I made my own project for linux, sure has some limitations and only a few shaders but it'll do in a pinch https://luxae.itch.io/lux-crtinted-glasses/devlog/1187645/shaderglass-weird-linu...

You and me both, I made my own crt viewer for linux meanwhile, still waiting for ShaderGlass Linux https://luxae.itch.io/lux-crtinted-glasses/devlog/1187645/shaderglass-weird-linu...
