I thought it was just fine for a game jam! But I have WAAAYYY to many hours in vampire survivors, my skills where ready~! haha. 

This is a top contender for me~! I love the game The Cat Lady, and this gave me the same type of vibes right away! Please continue on this, you have something going here with just a bit more polish!

Was confused on how to play at the beginning(I'm getting the same reviews so I understand this lol). But after reading the instructions on a comment I jumped back in! I recommend putting the more in depth instructions below the game for others :D
Art style was really good and the entire UI feels like it could be a fully polished game fairly quickly! Awesome job~!

This felt pretty close to a full platformer game, the yellow jacket gave me little nightmare vibes with a touch of silkson~ haha! For a 5day game jam I can't think of much in the way of feedback aside from just needing more time xD awesome job!

Deaths a cool guy & all but why does dying mean I gotta do Quests~ haha! xD
Such a unique take on the idea, having consequences is a great motivator to keep trying!

This was such a cute game! Great job with the the art, story, and letting me feed bean after death~!

I love Mr. Purplebottom~~!! The enemy designs were so cute too! Game had its own feel & charm which is really hard to do in such a short period of time. Jack is gonna see this one for sure~!

Ever since slender I've been a fan of the collect the notes type games and this is no exception! I've honestly bought games with less interesting story then this game jam game xD Awesome job~!

I got a big kick out of how the character moved at first~ haha! I think this could be a fun game to pick up on steam if you had more time to polish it off. Really awesome job, and I'm NEVER going to get tired of the indie horror graphical aesthetic~!

Both of you did a great job! Atmosphere & theme are a 10/10 from me~!

Title screen, audio, & visuals brought me back to my JRPG days, awesome job~!

I'm really a sucker for this art style~! The game mechanic was awesome, I loved seeing my slain body on the floor when I became ghosty lol. 10/10 for theme for sure! 

It definitely felt overwhelming at first! But now I know I just have some pretty amazing games to play haha

Lol this was a cute game~ I loved seeing a rpg maker sneak in a entry full of culture jokes haha.

The polish on this game is insane! Controls feel really smooth & I love my cat friend so much, if next time you find time despite making a master piece in 3days I want merch of mittens! xD

This was so good for being your very first game! I've bought games on steam with less mechanics! 
Getting the click to drag was probably a fun problem to figure out code wise! Really such a strong first entry!

This was such a fun idea! I didn't totally think it was what my co workers do to living souls trying to climb the ladder or anything xD

I was extremely impressed with the polish in this game. From the lighting & shadows to the dialogue boxes, which was something I struggled with this jam. I'm gonna be taking away some hints to make better UI in my own games by having played this- so thanks! xD

This was a fun game! I played for awhile to see the boss design & loved it haha.
