This is a great idea! We can't really spoil too much, but there is a character set in that tone, trying to evolve magic completely without caring about taboos or traditions, who is crucial to the story as a whole. it's not one of the professors though!
You will meet her later on, even though you have already heard of her!
Thank you so much! We are really happy that you liked Chapter 3!
About what we said on Discord, don't worry, we will still keep posting here!
What is changing is that we are stopping the demo releases. Before, the plan was to have a Chapter 3 demo and then Chapter 3 complete on Patreon, followed by Chapter 3 complete on Itch and a Chapter 4 demo on Patreon and so on.
Now we are cutting out the demo step entirely. So the release order will simply be:
Chapter 3 on Itch
Chapter 4 on Patreon
Then, when Chapter 5 drops on Patreon, Chapter 4 will drop on Itch!
The humans lost the war, but they still outnumber Anthros by a lot!
In Chapter 2, when you talk with Dian, he insists that history is not the way humans depicted it. He presents it as, “Your version is wrong, and mine is right.” But as the story progresses, you begin to realize that things are not that simple.
We do not want the narrative to be “this side is bad, and this side is right.” Everyone is the hero of their own story. The MC is there for a reason: to become the bridge between both worlds.
You have spent your whole life experiencing the hatred humans have toward Anthros. Now, you are experiencing firsthand the hatred Anthros have toward humans. Of course, there are exceptions: Dian and Miel do not judge you simply for being human.
Unfortunately, we cannot go too deeply into what will happen next, since the story will progress for around 15 chapters before reaching its end. We are still at the very beginning.
Thank you so much for playing the game and for being interested in our story, can't wait to share more!
We’re expanding the game step by step, with each chapter growing longer and more immersive than the last. Patreon is always one version ahead!
Chapter Two featured over 3,000 lines of dialogue, and the demo for Chapter Three already reaches 2,000!
If you’re happy to wait and would rather save your resources, we recommend holding off until May, when we plan to release the full Chapter Three on Patreon. Of course, we also share weekly devlogs, exclusive updates, and illustrations there, but if you’re mainly interested in the latest version of the game, waiting May would be the best choice!
The majority of the tracks are bought from online music composers, and some are AI (unfortunately), since we later found out that some packs we bought, thinking they were custom made, were actually AI. However, since people seem to love the music regardless, we are thinking about publishing them in the future with some cute drawn covers!
