Just released update which allow to skip points animation 🎉

You're right. I used to treat "idle" and "incremental" games as a single genre. Looking at it from a different perspective, it's definitely closer to an "incremental" game. What about mechanics, I think genre and machanics are two diferent things.

It's on my todo list for next release. It depends on play style, so I will add it to settings or add skip animation action to controls.

Thanks for first comment! Not exactly idle, but numbers go higher and higher as you clear successive rounds. Classic mechanics, but I found the twist very engaging :)
