no idea why there are spams in the comment but as someone who 100% this game, if you want a fun little 2D platformer that gets very creative and very hard (if you choose to go for things) this is a high recommend

lovely little sequel to wario woods and (fuck i messed up) i wish i could (damnit i pushed the block wrong) play the whole thing but sadly (OGHHHHHHHH) i am not very good at catherine

I became really good at pausing and pressing the retry option by the end of it, lovely game this no wonder you won the jam with this ! A little bit of a shame there wasn't a secret level or something for all of the tickets but either way this felt like right out of a nitrome game which is amazing.

Got to beat it in one go and got all the stars after the post jam update !! Worth the second place and joel will have a lot of fun with it, one thing i'd wish it had was mouse sensitivity option and a map (like old doom/quake) button but other than that, good work !!

this guy stink i hope he doesn't come back with like a sequel to fren ball for the next jam.. 

We need more micro/macro games so this was a fun little experience !

I hope maybe there will be get a fat character guy too, maybe some kind of janitor that lazily check around the room.

I think the tooltip should show up instantly when you over a attack, that would help with the flow of the battles

Also something i noticed during boss fights is that defeating the middle fren of the opposing team before it is their turn seems to give the player a free turn. I think bosses should also give more money so it is easier to upgrade or roll for new frens !

Played the game again earlier on hard, it was fun !! 

You definitely have something going on, hope you can somehow also get the virus scan stuff sorted out (not that the pipe bomb wasn't welcome)

This game is lovely but i wish it had arrows keys as a way to control THE skeletor..

other than that, mwah..

i made a movie so good it made fren go out of bounds !!!! (getting between the chairs make fren go a little crazy)

this game takes 5 mins to complete but joey will make it into a 30 mins segment because how simple yet fun it is, big thumb up

this being made in 2 weeks is crazy for how quality it is

Just finished it, definitely lower the volume of the background music so the bell puzzle is a little easier to figure out by ear and maybe lower the spawn rate of the sussy bakas toward the end cause i would end up having to defeat a waterfall of them to even get a chance to get up the platform and that if i'm lucky to not get hit by one falling on my way up there ! Anyways, good little jam experience !

Wanted to give it another shot and after picking up the tutorial bootleg item and selling it it seems like no other are spawning !!

Interesting concept but i cannot figure out how to send modified versions to the clients.. Also i wonder if you could add a simple mp3 player with some tooters

Was waiting to see if you were gonna do a update but i'll definitely give the game a shot again later !!

Very fun but i cannot play it more than one level because of two things which i hope you can fix before the deadline:

not azerty friendly so my eu keyboard and my eu hands have to do the crab to move around (ZQSD to move would be great) and also the sensitivity is way too high, i hope you can have a option to reduce the sensitivity cause other than that for the quick look i had at it, it seemed very promising !!

The bell keeper is a little low compared to the background music so it wasn't really easy to hear him.

I do think there could be a easier tell like a wrong bell sound effect when hitting a bell in the wrong order 

Really like the concept but if i can give you some feedbacks before the jam close:

- Add a little sfx whenever the enemy turn is over so it is easier to know when it is our turn

- Add definitions to the attacks of the frens (hopefully in the work)

- The victory theme stutter a bit at the start after a wild battle but it adds to the bootleg charm

I'm gonna be waiting for the save update because i do wanna collect the boingy boofs but it would be fun to see this game expanded even beyond he jam !!

Couldn't progress beyond the bell puzzle, there wasn't any clue i could find to open the door

I wonder if it's possible to change the controls for moving to arrows keys, cause it is a little odd to have both hands on the letters parts of the keyboard to move and shoot

Really cool idea and execution of the theme, it's very highscore based and having to try to juggle more than the game is fun ! I wish there was a little more to it but for something made in two weeks this definitely ones of my faves

a little too short but for a game jam this is definitely a fun little experience, got all of the vargshroom, the bad ending.. (scary!!) and the secret move..

finally i can experience what being lightly tipsy in QT feels like

you think you funny wasting my time speedrunning you game a bunch of times only for fien to headshot me and making me lose a run i bet you are reading this with a grin on your face, well guess what i did it, i beat you silly little challenge and it isn't about the reward but the journey of getting through it as fast as i can

Lovely little game, i do wish there was a little more reason to fight enemies in the overworld since dying just make you fall down (very sad) for two seconds but other than that it fit all of the boxes the jam was asking for.

One thing i will say is the game is a little tad quiet but nothing that bad.

very fun little game !! simple yet addictive though i wish it had a actual goal/ending to reach cause the end you reach felt a little random..

I think the upgrades should also be shown on the bottom left so you know which one you have on since trying to look at the spinning fren head is a little hard.. also you can oob if you jump high enough with upgrades and the shield doesn't seems to be affected by the alien

It plays much more smoother (at least to me) thank you for going through this quick fix !!

on a azerty keyboard it would be better if ZQSD (up left down right) were used for movement or just the arrows keys in general !

59 deaths and 5 free pizzas later.. it was truly i wanna be the experience

lovely little game, a little hard to play on a eu keyboard but nothing that difficult.. itchy mario is now free

i keep getting french in the first game.. my game might be cursed the smiley man is coming near ohjmyg

Thank you for adding the ruler and even teasing mutliplayer on steam.. However i have found a bug from the gnome.. if you make the mistake of aiming at one of the gift he leave on the board, funny visual bugs happen.. what a tricky opponent..


gameplay is very "we so back" "FUCKKKK" "wait we are so back" loop, the one thing i'd wish this game had was a line showing where the ball gonna hit cause most of the time i just go we ball and hit the snails

the music is so quiet that when i fell into the hole the "i kill you" make my skeleton jump out

if i see you in offline chat i will hunt you for that jumpscare

skeletons are made of bones, is your species skeleton bone

this game is like a toy you would get from a cereal box but not those cheap ones, i'm talking about those really fun ones you play around with for more than one minute
