Very nice!

First of all I love the itch.io website. It's so colorful and fun!

The game is pretty good! I loved it. It was such a nice experience. Your theme is pretty relatable too haha.

First of all, the art. The art is so damn lovely. The background is gorgeous and the parallax is a very nice touch. The playable character looks so sweet. The main title is amazing! Really this is a visually stunning game.

I didn't run into any weird bugs or anything, so I'd say the programming is pretty solid. It all works as intended.

In game and level design, as I said, I loved your theme. Maybe the power up system is a little weird, since the regular enemies seem to be designed to be killed by the powerup but not by the regular attack. Maybe being able to use both attack moves, just depending on context and enemy would've worked better. The scale of everything is a little off, the playable character looks really big compared to everything. And the distribution of the main collectables doesn't feel very intentional. The jump feels fantastic, the physics are phenomenal, but maybe it is a little too high.

All in all, I'm a pretty big fan of this game, definitely one of the best I've seen from this class. I felt the love and effort that was put into it.

I love it! The art and the music are pretty good, and the game design is pretty decent.

I was worried the automatic bullets would be the only useful weapon since they were so powerful, but because of the resource management I was forced to use all three types of weapon contextually. That's pretty neat! They each had purpose and felt useful.

The use of adaptive music really helps the atmosphere and makes clear the distintion between areas. The backgrounds on each section were pretty cool too, the art was overall a treat to look at.

I didn't run into any bugs or anything, so I'll be guessing the programming was pretty solid here.

Level design is the only valid criticism I could have. The scale of the objects and the spacing between them were a little weird. But the game felt fun regardless, just something to look out for in any possible next games.

Overall, congrats guys! I'm sure this was a lot of work, and it paid off. You've got yourselves a pretty good game.
