Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really glad you enjoyed the character archetypes and the approach to random events – I wanted it to feel simple and flexible, so it’s great to hear it came across that way.

You’re right that the game has a freeform style for PC health – but there is a mechanic: each character can take three wounds before they’re out. A night in a safe spot heals one wound, or a week / seeing a skilled doctor can heal all. I usually just keep track of wounds based on check results, so it sounds like we play it similarly!
