"sorry that this was half postmortem and half gushing about the story/characters" AS IF THAT'S NOT EXACTLY WHAT WE WANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i mean both is good but you talking about the characters more is very refreshing after constantly thinking about the game since playing it . which is why you mentioning a sequel blows up my mind in a good way wowie yippee hooray im so excited to consume more of your content !!!!!!!!!!!!! also the timeframe in which you achieved this in oh my god that's so insanely impressive

PUBLISHED 8 DAYS AGO??? honestly while playing it i thought this was some kind of insanely classic game that everyone but me had already gotten into, so it's surprising to know its not that (YET!!!!!!). This is the first game of yours I've played but everything (from the ARTSTYLE!!!!!!!! WHICH IS SO SCRUMPTIOUS!!!!! to the WAY THE STORY IS STRUCTURED / THE STORY AND CHARACTERS ARE WRITTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAHHH!!!!!! also the coding / general layout is just really impressive to me) is both inspiring and fascinating to the point where I think i might have to go play every other thing you've released . hope this review isnt too strange I need to hold myself back because i think i need to lay down and think about this game for a bit after completing everything first

The demo was incredible, I feel like this is gonna be one of those titles that I wont be able to stop thinking about for a good while. The worldbuilding and overall setting is super interesting and you've managed to make every single character incredibly charming it's insane (/pos). I'm so excited to play more of this, thank you so much for sharing your game and story with us raaaahhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get that games aren't always easy to come by on a tight budget but dude, game devs / artists need to make a living somehow too (especially with a game like this, that does require a LOT of time and effort to make it happen). 

Its been a year since you posted this but penultima is so good and it's SO impressive how you've managed to craft both a compelling story and character in such a short format !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! arggdfghhhhgh!!!!!!!!!!! this will be stuck in my head forever now and Im sad this isnt something super widely talked about because I need to consume as much as possible about zev and this story
