This was sweet and fun! I really enjoyed it :) I liked the mix of detective shenanigans with personal relationships. The dynamic between young and old Bell was very cute <3

Wowwwww I loved this game, it was amazing! I was obsessed with this while I was playing it and had trouble putting it down. The fights were pretty engaging, I loved how you needed to adopt different strategies with different enemies so it always kept things interesting. I also liked that I didn't ever feel like I needed to grind to level up. The way that death is incorporated as a game mechanic was super interesting and I loved it, I think it's cool that death is almost a mandatory part of the game. itchio doesn't have a tag for "choices matter" I think but boy this game really is a choices matter type game, and the way the game handles your choices (and mistakes!) was really well done, I was super impressed. Especially some of the decisions towards the end were really tough to make, I had to sit and think for a while about what I wanted to do. I'm actually super happy with my ending (I got #10) so I'm reluctant to go back and change things, but I am super curious about what happens in the other endings so I will (even though I fully expect to be emotionally devastated by them). I was really attached to the characters (especially Esra, of course) and thought the world-building was really good as well. I think a text-based game is hard to pull off, and I've read some pretty good ones, but this is definitely one of the best, and one of my favorite games I've played in a while.
Ahhhhh this was so so so good!!! I still want to go back and play through the other choices and romance options but this first time through was so good. I really like the characters and the world you've built. The conflict is interesting too and I'm really curious to see what happens next. Great job :)
This demo was so good!! The story was super engaging and I love the dialogue. It was definitely evident that the way you choose to speak and feel about things influenced your character and other people's attitudes towards you. The interactions with other characters felt very natural and realistic. You do often have dialogue choices, but even when you don't your character speaks in a way consistent with your previous choices. The game is very dialogue-heavy and it was super engrossing; I replayed a few different conversations to see how they'd go and it was interesting to see how different dialogue choices influenced the conversation. The CGs were great as well, and the dressing-up parts were fun. I loved how the dresses influenced what people said about you. It really helped convey the point of people in this society being very judgmental down to even the color of dress you're wearing. I ship MC x Mr. Linfield because she seems really in love with him and it's very bittersweet (hell yeah gimme that angst), but Mr. Worthington is such a good guy and I think they'd be great together too if she opened up her heart to him. Cpt. Sinclair is definitely a bit of a scoundrel but I found the dialogue with him to be the most interesting. Best of luck with the rest of the game, looking forward to the finished product! :)
I loved this!! I know it's not as happy as Magical Otoge Ciel, but it's so sweet and pure that I still somehow felt happy after playing it. The writing is incredible to have been able to evoke that despite the bittersweet ending. I think I felt happy to be able to witness these characters' pure love for each other. Oh and I absolutely love the humorous parts, I literally laughed out loud. Loved the art of course. Short, bittersweet, and an absolutely beautiful experience <3
Played this game a while ago, but wanted to come back and write a review because this game totally deserves some praise!
This is one of the best free VNs I've played, I can't believe it's free. The art is gorgeous and the characters are fantastic. They are all very distinct and memorable. The different routes as great as well, they really branch off and so the story unfolds in different ways, which I love. The world is intriguing, I like the supernatural/fantasy(?) elements, though it stays pretty vague, which is okay for this kind of story. It's very light on the horror, which I appreciate, though some of the death endings are sudden and somewhat funny (the achievements in this game have very humorous titles). The MC is absolutely hilarious, I enjoyed her internal monologue. And the way she interacts with others is unique as well. MCs can be a bit of a blank slate but this one is not. There are lots of very funny parts in the game in general, the banter is great between characters, and I think the game balances the dark and light elements very well. I found the romance very believable in each route, and Sachiro ended up being my favorite route despite the fact that he's a child for like 75% of it. Junoru's route was hilarious and revealed a lot of info about the story, which why it might be good to save it for last. Zeikun is unfriendly initially but it's very fun seeing how that changes, and Kurato was initially my least favorite because he was a little too aggressive, but I definitely liked him towards the end of his route (they're so sweet together!). I went back and re-played this recently, and it was just as good as I remembered. This is a super good game, and I would totally check out any future games from this creator.
